Largest Rooms are in the newly refurbished rooms around the low 2000's. If you have mobility problems let reception know they will try to get you a room close to the bars/reception and no stairs to climb.

The beach is beautiful and the sea is so clean.

Everything you could want is on your doorstep. The shops are fab but the Medina is the place for bargains. For me and my friends, we like to go out late and dance the night away and there are no shorages of nightclubs. Go to places like Bonapatre which is over the road from the hotel or go to red iguana a short taxi ride away.

This is a safe resort to go out in, I have been on my own before and felt safe enough to walk alone at night.

Please venture further from your hotel, there is so much to see in this bustling historic city.

To be honest we didn't really go into Skanes because we were very happy in the hotel. However, the streets were very clean and the beach was immaculate. I don't know about the entertainment but I am sure it would have been good.

Sousse is a very big town/city most Tunisians are very polite and friendly, hotels on the edge heading towards port el Kantoui.

Water sports are execellent, Beaches are clean, sea is very warm in August. Sousse town is a beautiful town with old ruins and a lot of history, but is a not for the faint hearted go to the soula market for no hassle shopping but if you try the medina shopping we did not enjoy, we got hassled and they tried to spit me and my partner up.

They dont take no for a answer and start shouting and being threatening against the english, be warned??

There is a Sunday market please avoid we tried it we lasted 5 minutes and jumped in a cab it is ram-packed full with people afterwards we heard 3 in 5 visiters either get there money stolen, women tend to get there hand bags slashed and stolen.

Port el Kantoui is just along the coast 2.50 in a taxis and has a large marina and is beautiful. Places to visit and nice restuarants it also has a water park and some fair rides for the kids. again we enjoyed our stay and will go back one day, but please remember it is a muslim country and you sometimes have to respect their way of life.

Was wonderful city. Plenty to do also plenty for the kids to do all the time.

Cheap for beach rides you cant spend your money at all, which is good.

Reading the reviews previously posted, I have to say if you are planning a trip here you must keep an open mind. The culture is so different to your typical holiday abroad. Prepare to haggle for almost everything in the local resorts (we found it fun) and also prepare for some begging, although not intrusive.

There was no entertainment in resort, although Port Kantanoui was only a short taxi trip.

There are water sports available on the beach, but this is not a typical holiday abroad.

If you keep an open mind you will enjoy it!

The resort itself has quite alot to offer. Plenty of shops and a few restaurants and bars. However, again we experienced problems with the local male Tunisians. For example, in one shop, my daughter was often hassled by a local Tunisian lad and his dad. They often tried to bully her into meeting him at the beach, he gave her flowers and waited in the entrance of the hotel for her to return a number of hours later when he then gave her a necklace. This was a regular occurence during our stay in Tunisia wherever u went u had to be prepared to get attention from the men especially with the two young girls.
The eldest of the two girls, but who is also 17 was proposed to by a tunisian who worked on the beach. Not only did he ask for my permission, he brought his own father to meet me, however I have to say when he got the message he left and did not pester my daughter. When swimmming in the sea, my daughters were hassled by tunisian men so it is clear to you that youve got to be prepared for this i dont think Tunisia is a place for young females unless accompained by a male counterpart 24/7 keep this is mind when booking your holiday!!

The resort is not really aimed towards younger people although their are a few night clubs. I would not recommend that girls go out into the resort at night alone, keep an eye on your wallet, we did hear some people had there wallet stolen, although we did not experience anything atall. the men will look at girls, even if your with a man, so girls be prepered!!!

The medina is very crowded and is a good experience, we went twice, they like the english, (we are more likely to by their product!!), but can be repetitive and aggressive if you wont buy. Make sure you barter with them, remeber they will try to rip you off first so barter as much as you can they will for defo go down in price!!!

The beach is pleasent and is where we spent most of our time getting a good tan!!! there a a few nice cafes on the beach and the water seems to be nice and clean in most areas. however, when i was sunbathing alone, tunisian men come in their thousands to "flirt", and their are some Tunisians on the beach who try and sell you cigarettes, watches, carpets, some friendly, some are not if you refuse to buy. however most of the time the beach was pleasent and enjoyable.

The entertainment (if you can call it that) was pathetic.

The beach was not very clean so we never went there after our first visit.
