Largest Rooms are in the newly refurbished rooms around the low 2000's. If you have mobility problems let reception know they will try to get you a room close to the bars/reception and no stairs to climb.

The resort was very clean. There wasn't much entertainment but if you get in with a crowd you can have a good time.

The standard of the beach was excellent.

Yes I would visit this resort again and again.

In this resort there were many places to visit and many shops to go to. As it wasn't very far from Monastir, you could also go on your own by train there. It was really great experience. The people are quite different in Monastir and in Sousse.

At first the people seemed a bit too harassing, but you get used to it. If you just smile to them and walk away, nothing happens. Just don't believe everything you hear there. They are probably telling the same story to everybody.

Still I would go to Sousse and no other resort.

Had the best vacation so far in there.

The resort the hotel was nearest to was Sousse which was a taxi ride away and was clean enough but if you enter the Medina prepare to be pestered none stop, we were advised by our rep that the tunisians were happy with a firm 'no thank you' but I don't feel that that was the case, and one shop owner was verbally abusive because we did't buy anything from him.

It was ok in the fixed price shops though. We also visited Port al Kantoui and Monistir and both of those places were as bad. I know that it is a Tunisian tradititon to barter, but I'm sure that I would have bought more from them if I was left in peace to look!

we went on a Catamaran to look for Dolphins - the sea was a little choppy so we didn't see any but a few people were sick on the journey and I was appalled to see the boatsmen throwing the bags of vomit into the sea!

There were some better beaches along the coast that we saw as we travelled around to different places but where we were the beaches were ok but the sea could have been better.

Skanes is clean enough Sousse isn't, but its a busy north African town so could couldn't expect anything else. Would not recomend any one going to the medina in Sousse you will get totally ripped off and hassled to death.

The Soulla centre is over priced but hassle free,I would recomend you stay in the taxi and carry on to Port El Kantui the shops are better and cheaper(especially for football stips trainers ect)and a little less hassle free.

The taxi drivers out side the gate will try and over charge you every time but stand firm and they do come down, pay no more than 10 dinars to Kantui and 5 to Sousse.

Over all an enjoyable holiday had by all would recommend the Houda to any body young or old.P.S If you take sterling cash you do get a better rate than euros or US dollars.

The resort was great and there were plenty of sunbeds available, although you have to get to the beach pretty early if you want a lounger there!

We did get quite a bit of hassle from men/boys, however, they are so polite with it that you can't be annoyed. You just have to be friendly but firm! I did not at any time feel threatened or unsafe and I would even stay at the hotel if I was travelling alone.

The weather was fantastic, with not a cloud in the sky......got a lovely tan!

I would definitely recommend this hotel and May/June is a great time to go!

Skanes is not really a resort just a stretch of hotels. It is conveinent for the airport, although not too close to be bothered by aircraft noise.

Monastir and Sousse are within easy reach giving you the best of two towns should you wish to leave your hotel. There is one bar/shop that is not connected to any hotel but thats about it.

I have been to Sousse and PEK for about 7 times. All the tourist areas are clean. There are numerous cafes and resturants serving a varity of local and international foods.

The beach is superb with white powdery sand. Most of the areas boardering the hotels are cleaned daily. I have always found the people friendly and easy to get on with. I tend to think it depends on your approach to them.

I do not have any safety issues with the resort, just realise you are a tourist in a third world country.Always agree your taxi prices before getting in. Taxis are easily picked up from the air port if you are an independent traveller as I was, for my last Holiday.

Airport to Sousse should be about 15 and resort to air port about 10 dinars. Enjoy!

Is it hard to describe this area as a Resort, as it is just a strip of hotels - but it was so hot, we didn't want to do anything except sit by the pool, make sandcastles on the beach and play with the children.

Sousse was the resort, not much to do nothing for children, locals to much hassle.

Everywhere you go always trying to sell you something. as soon as you jump out of a taxi which doors dont close properly, seat belts dont work.

Not to mention them offering you a drink! Everything you touch in the shops you have bought. Small children offering you flowers dont take one or you have bought it.

My recommendations are dont go even to try if you have booked cancel your holiday and go somewhere else. Dont say I did not warn you.

Theres nothing to do in the area. When you went onto the beach you get hassled into going on a boat ride or para gliding.
