Beach was very very very close to the hotel, infact i think it was part if the hotel! Very clean, drinks always available at a click of a finger (witer service) and Deck chairs available at 1 dinar (approx.50p) and complete trust in no-one stealing your belongings whilst in the sea! The sand is so white and soft, its to die for! The resort was clean, people were nice almost everywhere, no problem with language, everyone seems multi-lingual! Within the resort, there was a fair amount to do but not a huge amount! We went on the 2 day sahara explorer which was tiring but excellent! camel rides through the sahara, jeep rides through the oasis, salt lakes, a must experience for a very good price of £67. Hotel and food included! Definitely would visit again and to the exact same hotel! loved it!

The resort was very limited but very traditional. Entertainment was miminal but could be found in local hotels whereas there were few bars but again could be found in the medina shopping centre as well as little local bars which welcome you with open arms.

The resort was good, you could use the facilities of the Marhaba and the Marhaba Beach hotels, it was very clean all over. Beach was great.

There isnt alot to do in the resort, but cheap enough to go into town via taxi. Cover up if you do not like attention and people pawing you as the men are very leery. They are annoying but there are high penalties if they take it too far so you are safe as long as you do not provoke too much. The restaurant next door does great burgers and pizza if the food is too much for you. Try a shisha at the cafe too as this is a good experience even if you are not a smoker as it helps the digestive system. The night club is ok but when we went it was over run by russian lesbians. The trips to do are the azziza for half a day if you do it with the guy on the beach you have to arrange your own transport to and from so best to do it with your rep also the sahara trip is fantastic the hotel there is top class and you are looked after so well.

Sousse is a working tunisian town, full of traditional life with the soula centre, government run, with heaps of tunisian priced goods and is haggle free.
The medina centre is the old walled in city with the bazaar is you will get hassled all the time, barter for bargains, its a great day out. The port has the old galleons for day trips, there is para gliding which is cheap, jet skis, banana boats, rings, diving and fantastic 2 day trips to the desert and beauty spots, plus camel rides.
Have a good holiday......

It was lovely the only thing i could say bad is that i didn't like how they treat the horses they are out for 14 hours a day in very hot weather i never saw them feed or water them, they where thin i felt very sorry for them it made me bad.But the boat trip was really good for 10 pound they never stop feeding you.

tunisia is a very safe place to visit, their crime
rate is very low, they are law abiding muslim people.
however they do like to try and outsmart us tourists
in the main market place (the medina)a 3dinar (£1.40)
taxi ride away, or just turn left from hotel and follow
the beach line for about 15mins walk.
don't bother hiring a car it is like a stock car rally
in the town centre of souse around the medina and port,
and you will have an accident i guarantee,
it is like no other and takes years to get use to.
the beaches are fabulous gold sand, and the sea is kept
clean by regulary cleaning the beaches.
the nearest beach is just a 5 min walk from the back of
the hotel, as so are tons of shops and restaurants.
there are no external bars but a few late night clubs,
more like theme pubs busy from 12am till about 5.
their religion does not really allow drinking alcohol
but the natives are becoming more westernised.
you can not buy property in tunisia unless you marry a
tunisian, this prevents foreigners taking over their
country and keeps land prices down (unlike spain).
on the whole a very nice, friendly, safe and
inexpensive country to visit, lacking in the
entertainment department, also a country worth exploring if you have the time, just get into
the habbit of paying about a 1/4 for anything on the
beach and at the market place (the medina)historic
old town of sousse.
it is just not ibiza or ayia napa full of drunken
brits thats all.
my rating 8/10 - a bit more night life and a full 10/10 !!!

Sousse is a good base, altough roadworks and dug up pavements are the norm at present. Plenty of places to see from here, and you can just have a walk around if you want. The Madina is worth a visit if you can stand the hassle, but if you intend to buy, look in the fixed price shopping centre to see what sort of price you should be paying, other wise you could get stung.

Sousse is a mixture of the new and very old, the hotels are
fabulous and modern, roads and pathways lag behind.
There are a few nightclubs in Sousse where you can dance
the night away.
The beaches are lovely sandy and very hot!
