it was so clean. i had thoughts that it wouldnt be but when we got there they put our country to shame.
The entertainment in the day was very good as there were alot of shops.also alot of attractions to visit.
The beach was gorgeous, it was only a 2 minute walk it is a lovely golden sand beach.

This resort is truly superb - other hotels share the area, but it is all clean and well looked after, with plenty of landscaped gardens and the Beach is amazing - although not soft fine sand, but fine none the less.

Side is a historic little harbour town. There are lots of places to eat, drink, and shop. At the far side of the town near the harbour, you can visit the temple of Appollo (a very romantic spot at sunset). The other end of town has a Roman Ampitheatre. The beach is huge, sandy and clean. The sea is warm and clean, watersports are readily available for approx £20 a time. Taxis, buses and dolmush are frequent and cheap.

Side is not a compact resort, most locations are pretty spead out,so if you don't want to stay around the harbour or Kumkoy you've quite a walk and it has small pockets of restarants and shops behind the main drag, but it takes time to root them out.
Also the area is very hilly so if you have difficulties walking it's not the resort for you.British are very much in the minority,so therefore sterling isn't as acceptable as other British based resorts don't get me wrong ,they will take it,but not as readily. Also if you exchange to YTL when calculting purchases they will use the euro as the exchange rate, which can lead to inflated prices.
The beach is very long and there are plenty of (free?) loungers, but obviously you have to spend money on drinks etc.,so it could work out quite expensive.Entertainment wise,it's only really whatever the bars put on,singers etc., but if you AI your own hotel will have entertainment.
On our second week a nightclub opened not far from Kumkoy. Can't give an opinion on it as we didn't partake.
The resort itself is pretty clean, and the beach is cleaned daily. I have put in my assessment that I wouldn't go back to this resort, because we were only just beginning to find our way around when we left so maybe we didn't get as much out of the resort as we could have.
But personally the Jury is still out on Side. Hope this helps

Side itself does not have much to recommend it apart from the Roman ruins.
The centre of Side itself is one big market selling fake goods! That said, there are some great trips that you can take from the hotel to the ancient roman city of Perge, and the magnificent amphitheatre at Aspendos, and the Manavgat waterfall and river trip are also worth a day out.

The resort is very clean & tidy, there is regular dolmus services to titreyengol, side and manavgat,we explored most of the places located nearby sometimes on foot and other times going on the dolmus.
Taxis were also reasonbly priced if you haggled a bit! The beach was sand/shingle and very clean they also had watersports available from the beach.
There was a few good bars and nice little shops we visited in titreyengol, and we also had a great time wandering around side.

We spent all of our evenings in our hotel/ resort because our son wouldn't let us miss the Mini Disco and shows! It was a safe and pleasant walk along the beach into Side from Blue Waters, but transport home on teh dolmus was welcome in the heat!
I loved the ancient heart of Side with its ruins standing around so casulally in everyday life. Tourist shopping is...just that(!) but nice to browse down the streets leading to the sea.
We enjoyed visiting the market in Side on several occasions but didn't stray too far beacuse of the heat and our 5 year old. I think Side has a bit of everything for most visitors, if you come with the right attitude!
