the resort was lovely and clean, I thought the entertainment
at altinkum was brilliant especially the dancers in the bars. The beach's were very clean with enough sunbeds for everyone, granted it was vey busy but the more the merrier.
I would go again in fact Im going next month hopefully(fingers crossed).

Excellent place for couples, families and even singles. Lots of english pubs and clubs to keep you entertained in the evening. Lovely beach although can be crowded in peak season. Nice people generally. Very clean.

There are four beaches in the resort. The two furthest ones are by far and away the better. They are very quiet, and smaller. The two larger beaches along the main stretch in the resort are nice, but do get crowded. Altinkum has a wide range of cafes, restaurants and bars, and one main nightclub. The night club, Medusa, is an experience! It is an open air club overlooking the beach and the music was a good mix of everything. The restaurants offer a wide range of foods, everything from traditional Turkish, to english, chinese and everything in between! Prices do tend to vary so you should look around. We found a restaurant called the IBOS restaurant and bar. This was the best discovery we made. The food was exceptional, prices very cheap and the staff were out of this world. So much so, we are now very good friends with them all, and are still in contact with them. They made our holiday the best holiday we have ever had. Terri (the owner) and her boys, Serge, Mehmet, Ferdinand, Serjou, Chris (chef) etc are wonderful people, and connot do enough to make your holiday the best you've ever had.

The resort was great we were right near the beach and the shops were just outside of the hotel.
But you cant walk down the street without getting hassled to go into a bar.
The resort was fairly busy as it's where the local Turks go for their holidays but they were friendly too

That was the 18th time I have vistied the resort I visit 3 times a year ITS great! ROCK ON SWAN BAR!!!

The resort was clean but still dirty. The entertainment was spot on because there was plenty of things to do and watch. The beach was okm but I wouldnt no as I couldnt get a spot on it. We had to travel if we wanted to go on the beech.
I woulndt visit this resort again I thought it was highly overrated for the standsard you get!

Altinkum is ideal for all groups young and old. Despite the over zealous men (toward woman)most of the local people are friendly and appear genuine - The manager of the Olio (Mandella Apartments) went out of his way to help when my husband lost his credit card. I wouls tay in Altinkum in the same hotel but room only.

Overall Altinkum was clean and whilst it is not a major resort there is still plenty there, so if you want to drink and eat in a different bar and restuarent every night of a 2 week holiday then YOU CAN.
There are 3 beaches - 1, 2 and 3. The third beach is probably the best but is a good 15min walk (alternatively you can get reception to contact one of the bars on the beach and they will collect you - free of charge). However there are only 2/3 bars at third beach. We used Deniz restuarent and there were the BEST - staff, food and service.

the beach was allways very busy not a lot of room and you had to watch out for stray balls coming at you
