Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Resort very clean and tidy.
Entertainment was good lots to choose from. Beach was bit stoney and very hot on bottoms of feet. Water very salty.
Good resort if only the hassle from shops was a little less it would be perfect.

Icmeler is around 10km from the larger town of Marmaris, but much nicer. It is always possible to go to Marmaris by dolmus or water taxi, but why would you want to anyway?
The town is vibrant by day and night, with dozens of bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. Many of these have free entertainment every night, but there are quiet spots as well. The loud music stops at midnight, under rules imposed by the local council, although those wishing to carry on partying can do so at one of sereral clubs.
There are scores of shops, selling everything under the sun, including copy watches, designer clothes and groceries. There are at least six hairdressers, who vie for trade in the street. For men, it is worth trying a shave and haircut at one of these! Many of the shops and other businesses stay open until 3 or 4 in the morning!
There are many travel agencies and trips can be booked to exotic places all around!
There is a huge street market every Wednesday, although this is very hot and humid in the summer months.
All in all, Icmeler is a great place, with something for everyone.

Icmeler is a top resort that is ideal for families and couples. Everywhere we went people were so helpful and really could'nt do enough for you. See you again soon!

Well Icmeler is full of very friendly people ..the canal is full of amazin bars like dreamboys =] we were never out of there coz it was sooo amazin =] ..Hobknobs was also amazin =] the staff in there were soo funny and friendly. Another good pub to go to is the red lion ..the food is nice =] and the staff are great =] Now onto the clubs =] there are only 2 clubs in icmeler - Pleasure and Eastenders =] we would recomend Eastenders as it is very busy as thats where most of icmelers young stunnin waiters go when they finish work ..Eastenders opens about 12 but it dosnt get busy till about 1 so we would recomend waitin till about 1am to go. the music is well amazin as they dont just play all the turkey choons they play everything =] there is a foam party everynight around 4am =] and from experiance dont wear white =[ lol but we recomend Eastenders
We only went to pleasure once and it wasnt throught choice ..it was because some parts of icmeler had a power cut and eastenders didnt have a genarator but being us we had to go out so we went to plesure as it did have a genarator =] it wasnt that bad but us being eastenders burdz for the past 2 years preferd eastenders =] anyhoo thats about all we can think of the now lol keep yehs posted

Having stayed in Marmaris before two years ago we decided to try Icmeler as it is a much quieter and slower paced resort. A good choice in my opinion. Everything you need is close to hand bars restaurants and other shopping. There is an array of travel shops to arrange your local trips, most of the prices are similar. However if you use the same travel shop for more than one trip they do offer discounts. The one we used was local travel just up from the Melita apartments run by Mustifa he was extremely helpful he discounted our trips as we booked more than one. He was also a good source of information and advice as I am sure most of the others are. You are spoilt for choice with bars and restaurants the service is second to none and if it is not on the menu they will get it for you. In ten night we never had a bad meal in fact the food was of a high standard. I think some of our UK bars and restaurants have something to learn from the Turkish customer service.

A big plus in my opinion is that all music in the resort has to be off by midnight but the bars still remain open. If you want the hectic nightlife then Marmaris is just ten minutes away on the Dolmus(bus) cost 1.50 lira (40p). Most bars/restaurants offer free playsation 2 and pool to keep the kids happy. Overall Icmeler is a cracking resort and if I don't go back this year I will be back in 2007.

Icmeler is fantastic, we always stay here, as it is clean and quite small and peaceful!

hi its a loverly place to stay me and my husband have been going for 10 yrs god iv got to renew my passport where have those yrs gone the locals are so freindly , icemeler is a loverly place to go its so clean you have to go urself to find out i wouldnt go anywhere else ,well what can i say if u are goin enjoy urselves and u,ll see for urself have a wonderful holiday and c u all soon xxxxxxx

We have visited Icmeler 4 years in a row and have booked for next year too, so I guess you can see we love the place. People are very friendly and helpful and we've never had a bad meal. Have only scored 3 for the beach, because we don't go to the beach - we like the pool - so can't really comment if it's good or bad. Plenty to do in Icmeler, something for everyone of all ages.

what an eye opener, to see the streets washed and swept, we could learn something from the local council here.the shops were great the staff very freindly not pushey they have a job to do and aliving to earn. good choice of restaurants and food good all round entertainment and trips, beaches raked and cleaned low cost sun bed and parasol's what more could you want.

we loved icmeler and cant wait to go back again. it was really peaceful(if you wanted it to be) or very lively, depending on what you were looking for. go to the dream three bells bar and restaurant. we went to numerous pubs and bars and never found one as good as this
