Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

We all love Icmeler and will definitely be visiting again. The locals are so friendly and courteous and will do anything to accommodate you. There is something for everyone in Icmeler (not to mention the shopping!!!). The beach is beautiful, with breathtaking views, and I would definitely recommend you book a boat trip. What more can I say - just go.

The resort of Icmeler couldnt be better, what a fantastic place with the most amazing people you would ever wish to meet. There is something for everyone here and their friendliness is second to none. Paragliding, jet skiing, snorkelling, fishing and a huge selections of bars and restaurants. The beach is immaculate, a sunbed will set you back 70p for a whole day and you can get them easily right at the shoreline. Yes we would visit this resort again and in face were already booked for next year.

This being the first visit to icmeler we found the resort nice, clean, friendly and welcoming.
Some of the people outside the bars to try and drag you in but telling them politley 'no' or taking a card usually puts a stop to this. Various bars put different entertainment on and it's just a case of shopping around to suit your tastes.
A few of the bars we would recommend are De Javu (just down from castle Appts) where there is nightly entertainment. Charleys (english owner) - will not drag you in but if you eat there you will go back. 3 Bells (even if you don't go in shout merry christmas at them as you go past). Captain Bullshits - Lovely meals and a great boat trip definately worth £10 for the day out.
We did not make it down to the beach but heard great reviews and have booked to go back in september where we intend to make it to the beach to see for ourselves!!

Icmeler is beautiful, we particularly likes the stalls down by the canal. It is a lot quiter than Marmaris, however there are stil plenty of people around and plenty of hings to do. However, the restaurants and bars are VERY bad for hassle we found we could not walk past any bar without being hassled to enter. However as we have been to Turkey for the last 3years, we knew to expect this. The beach is beautiful and hasbeautiful views. It is also very clean, just like the whole of Icmeler!

Icmeler is a small resort that is full of entertainment at night. We liked the resort but was put off by the hassle of people wanting you into cafes, supermarkets, shops and even hairdressers. Spoilt our first visit to Turkey.

We didnt really know what to expect from Icmeler as none of us had ever been to turkey. We loved it so much we have rebooked for september. Between Icmeler and Marmaris (five mins on bus) we didnt stop. We were on the beach for ten, dinner by seven and out drinking by nine and falling home at six am. You can make it as wild as you want but also its perfect for a quiet holiday. The bars in Icmeler are very friendly and cheap with good entertainment. We never got round them all. Marmaris is fab for wild nights out - amazing open-air clubs. The food in Icmeler is fab and the service was amazing. All the restaurants on the beach front have their own area of beach, the beach boy brings your food and drink to you so you dont need to move a muscle. WE LOVE ICMELER.

Icmeler is a great place for a holiday. Full of very good restaurants and bars.

I didnt ever want to go to Turkey but when I went last year I loved it and I wouldn't go anywere else now and the place is so clean and they make you feel welcome.

We have been going to icmeler for ten years. It is clean and the streets are sprayed every day. The entertainment in the resort is usually carried out by the bar staff. The beach is the best in the area with all kinds of watersports, and the boat trips are exceptional value for money. We like icmeler so much we try to go at least once a year

Icmeler is a beatiful resort with plenty to do. Nice shops and boutiques, plenty of bars, loads of all day trips which are very inexpensive (approx £10 including a meal) Nice beach and lovely people.
