Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler itself was a lovely place, it is a pity that it's beach is a 'bit' like gravel !...We did a few trips which were well organised and great fun. We ate in too many places to mention but I can honestly say we never had a bad meal anywhere. I will just mention POP in at Oscars which does a wicked breakfast...The Greenhouse ( which is new ) which does lovely kebabs for lunch ( and it was nice to hear a south London accent from the man on the door !!) and finally Romance...who were just brilliant...The waiters show was a laugh and the food / service second to none....A great bunch of people who did a wicked Banana and chocolate cake for sons birthday... ( The look on his face when they were singing and letting off flares was hilarious ).
The Appts also did a free taxi service to Mario where you can eat some great pizzas while enjoying a fantastic view over the sea.
I'm glad we've been to Icmeler and The Babadan Appts are a great choice for a place to stay.The only thing I didn't like about this holiday was the hassle you got. I understand why you get it and it is done in a friendly manner most of the time but it did get annoying and if I'm honest has made us think twice about going again..I'm not saying we wont go...just that we didn't come home wishing we were still there !!......

Icmeler was a nice clean, picturesque, quiet town. It was nice to walk about in on an evening, and have a few drinks in the bars. People friendly, and bars plentiful. We felt very safe as and there was no rowdyness, which is important as we have young children. I can reccomend a boat trip to Dalaman mud baths & turtle beach, and the taxi boat (£2.70) to marmaris is more relaxing than the dolmus busses (50p).
Our two children were always made to feel welcome everywhere we went, which makes it a good holiday for them too. The Turkish people are very friendly, and English is spoken everywhere.
When at the beach, take flip flops as the beach is fine shingle and hurts when you walk bear foot. Buy a snorkle and you can see lots of small fish close to the shore too.

in icemeler it is very clean as there are bin men cleaning the street everyday.the entertainment in Icemeler is fantastic. there are loads of shops in icemeler and if you cant find what you are looking for there is always a short bus drive to marmaris. the beach in icemeler is fantastic and if you are daring enough yuo can try out the water sports which include speed boats and jet skis.

Icmeler in May was quite quiet, getting busier as the month progressed. There are plenty of restaurants serving good, reasonably priced meals, plus supermarkets and tourist shops.
It is extremeley easy to get the Dolmus to busier Marmaris, and from there a bus to other towns and resorts. You can also walk from Icmeler to Marmaris along a promenade next to the seafront, which is very scenic, and well worth doing.

resort was very clean and well lit, the beach was very nice but we were ripped off by the change office next to the metropol/idas hotels. not only us but at least 6 other people this was done very slyly and when discovered the young man was extremely rude/aggressive. This was not a good thing to be happening in a nice resort as it gives them all a bad name. Plenty of bars and restaurants several shows and the dreaded karyoke is creeping in here and there, all in all a very pleasant place scenic compact but near enough to marmaris if you want the bumpy bumpy night life

First timer. Loved it so much must go back yesterday. I'm itching to go back wish it could be sooner than August, the earliest I can travel. Crammed lots into a week so definatley going for two next time.
Must mention Florida bar Restaurant and Dream Boys. Had a great time there.
Clubbing great at Eastenders but even better in Mamaris.

We liked Icmeler as a family resort as there are plently of bars and restaurants and a nice beach, although it is shingly. There are plenty of sunbeds available and the sea is clear and shallow. There are plenty of tour operators if you fancy doing any trips. The only complaint was the harrassment you constantly get at every bar and restaurant to look at their menu. It really can spoil your holiday but you have to be firm and just say 'no thanks' or else you would take all night to get anywhere!

Been to Icmeler 16 times obviously love the place. May was particularly hot(round 18th)and the resort was quite quiet, but the atmosphere as always was welcoming.All the bars, restaurants, were spruced up awaiting visitors and the beach wasn't busy yet , but it wasn't empty either, everyone was 'ready' for the season to start! Looking forward to our next trip in August.
