Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Attic rooms may be too hot in the height of summer

Would not go again, purely because of the hassle from the shopkeepers and bars, the resort was clean but not somewhere i would wish to return to.

Icmeler was very clean, lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Beach was gritty but the water was nice to paddle in.
At the beach front you get a taxi boat to marmaris,or can arrange boat trips, turkish baths, jeep safaries, scuba diving, turtle island, mud baths ect.
Plenty of night time entertainment,some clubs have live entertainment in most the waiters entertain and they are very good.
I would definately go return to Icmeler.

Icmeler is a lovely place. I have been 3 times now and there is some thing for every one. People are friendly and helpful, food is great

Icmeler is a beautiful place and going on the little train is a good way to see
it all and it only costs 2 liras, less than 60p. There are plenty of bars and
restaurants but we didn't eat out because we were all inclusive. The Waterfall
is really beautiful and Wonder Boys is a great laugh. The staff are friendly and
make a fuss especially of you buy a goldfish bowl. Good cheesy tunes on the
dance floor and the shows are hilarious especially the Full Monty and Blues
Brothers. We also went to the only nightclub in Icmeler a couple of times. Its
called Eastenders and isn't all that good. They play an odd mix of hip-hop and
hard dance music. It's full of British people and local Turkish guys who have a
really weird dance style. It is free entry though, so can't really complain.
We went on the jeep safari. It was great fun and we got totally drenched. Take
some ammo, water pistols or bottles of water. A Turkish bath is a must. We went
twice. Some people we spoke to were a bit freaked out how touchy feely the guys
get but just say no or stop and they will.
We went to Marmaris shopping one day and was really glad we picked Icmeler and
not there. It was okay but compared to Icmeller it seemed dirty and run down.

This is a cleaner than clean resort they spray the streets every day to kill the mossies did not see a lot of rubbish about
Marmaris is near(Give that a miss tacky and hyper hassle)
Realy enjoyed ourselves.
Walk up to the village at the back by the Mosque bakery there and a cafe where you can get a glass of tTurkish tea for 25 cents yes 10 pence
Loads of restuarants give the Waterfall a miss the service was poor also the Chef that was poor also Love Boat food not good its all front and no content. The Erdem Cafe on the front offers the best value for money in the town excellent for lunches (Its the only restuarant that does not have a puller inner no hassle just good food and service. Also light meals in the evening

Will be going back next year but not on a Thomas Cook Plane seat pitch horrendous kept awake by screechin trolly dolly flogging duty free, scratch cards Fantastic this that and tat never slept the four misrable hours we were on the plane.

Icmeler is lovely and clean great places to eat and drink people are very friendly a bit pushy but not over the top
the only drawback I find is most entertainment is breakdancers belly dancers Michael Jackson and cheesey music.
A bit of variety would be nice if there is anything else I didnt find it so apoligse now.
Will be back found it a great relaxing hoilday.

Icmeler is a quality resort not to be faulted. Very clean and very pretty. A little more expensive than Marmaris, but you get what you pay for

Icmeler is an extremely pretty town, it was extremely clean even though I could never find a bin. The beach was perfect and always plenty of sunbeds available. There are plenty of places to eat and the food is excellent. We ate at the Wayside, Dream boys and Set Steakhouse in the evenings and were never disapointed. Would definately recommend this resort and will visit again.

can't fault the resort plenty restraunts, my favourites are Titanic, with oscar at the helm he looks a bit like shrek but so friendly.
Avoid the chinese all you can eat food always cold at not as good as home.
Prepare too get hassle everywhere but a stern NO keeps you ok.
A must is a turkish bath and a turkish shave most relaxing. I will definately go back but on a half board basis if not 2006 then 2007.
