Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

I love Icmeler and I will continue to return year after year. The resort itself is surrounded by pine clad mountains and it is just so relaxing. A sun worshipper's paradise. You can walk out at night even alone and feel perfectly safe.
Personally I find the resort quite beautiful as it's neighbouring resort is Turunc although very quiet. Marmaris is close by on the other side of Icmeler for that unforgettable night out. So you have the best of all worlds.

We love Icmeler but over the years are finding it getting noisier and more and more "Bar Street" type places are opening-not a good idea.
If I wanted that I would stay in Marmaris!-Icmeler has always been a bit quieter than Marmaris and that maybe the main attraction of the resort-please don't go down the "Aya Napa" route with the area, keep bar street to Marmaris-please!

The resort was beautiful.
Many tourist and bars. All the staff of restaurants are so polite and cheery. They dont annoy you too much. The entertainment was good when you are enjoying your meal. The beach was really warm and sandy and not littery and hard... It was brilliant... I will DEFINITLEY visit again.

We love Icemeler and come here every year so there are no real bad points to say about the resort.
For the first timer to Turkey, the constant (please look at my menu) will soon get annoying, but once you get used to it its not that bad, just be polite and the owners soon start to leave you alone.
Icemeler is more a family or the over 18-30 couple who enjoy eating out type of resort, although there are more and more fun bar/restaurants starting to appear, but the music still gets turned off around midnight.
If you want the night life you are better off going to Marmaris, which is geared towards that type of entertainment.
There are many great places to eat in Icemeler, and all have more or less the same menu, at more or less similar prices.
So you can try a different one each night or find one you like and stay with it, its up to you.
The Dost restaurant just 50 yards from the Efem although looks like it would be expensive is by far, one of, if not the best, for value, cleanliness, friendliness,and the quality of food is beyond many if not all in the main town,
and you dont have to run the gauntlet of all the other restaurants enroute to eat there.
And im not being paid to say that either ha ha.
Another must for the first timer is the jeep safari, a great fun day out, but be prepared to get very wet and dirty, and a water gun is a must, there are many sellers of these type of trips ,but you cant go wrong if you book with Linda on the main street just next to the medical centre.
Overall Icemeler is a great place to go on holiday and we will be back there this september.

First time in Turkey glad we went to Icmeler every thing you want fun pubs,quiet bars sport bars dance clubs the lot.
Beach not sand so needed shoes on but water warm. The people of Icmeler are realy nice a bit of hassle from the restaurants but we found it no problem.
Glad we went in September as that was hot enough could not have stood it in July/August. Plenty of trips to go on a must is the jeep safari but you will get very wet found the resort clean and a lot quieter than Marmaris(Blackpool).
We would go back to Icmeler as you cannot visit all the bars restaurants in only two weeks and some are a must as the food is lovely a walk to the old town is worth it for a change.

Icmeler is a fabulous resort. This was our 2nd visit and we are already planning our return.
Superb restaurants not one bad meal - gorgeous steaks!
Entertainement could not be faulted one bit.
Fabulous entertainment from the Venice bar/Majestic/Cheeky Monkey bar (this bloke climbs a tree with a fishbowl on his head!) Kareoke bar is a must for watching a good Michael Jackson show.
Great all round - would recommend highly!

Icmeler is a lovelly place, although we felt this year it had changed a fair bit, the people are still very welcoming and one of the cleanest holiday resorts we have been to.
There is something for everyone in Icmeler, if your new, you've just got to find your feet a little bit but its now like a second home to us.
Roll on next year.

Cleanliness in Icmeler is of a high standard.
There is plenty of entertainment in the bars and restaurants.
The beach is shingle. Plenty of sunbeds everywhere on the public beaches.
We have visited Icmeler for the past 5 years and look forward to our 6th time next year.

Much quieter than Mamaris, but still plenty going on for all.
