Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

After 10th visit I don't think there is much more I can add that I haven't said before. I think of Icmeler as my second home and it's still as beautiful, clean, safe and welcoming as on my first visit.
We didn't notice the hassle again this year, maybe we are getting used to it or they are getting used to us. Prices much the same as in May.
I don't think the beach was quite as clean this time but it is near the end of the season.
We will be back.

I have been to Icmeler loads of times and this trip was no different.
It is a cracking place with lots to do both during the day and night.I will be returning but will be careful who Ibook with next time!

Icmeler is a beautiful place surrounded with mountains, there are a lot of places to eat, drink and chill out.
Jewellers and leather shops are in abundance and the Turkish people are the friendliest I've met

Icmeler is a great resort,lots of good resturants & bars give the JASMIN a go right outside of the private hotel, dreamboys & majestic also for great food & turkish hospitality, we are already looking forward to next years visit !!

I have been visiting Icmeler since 1997 and have seen many changes over the years. Probably now been around 20 times so obviously i love it! I am tempted to try somewhere a bit more "turkish" but i always seem to stick with Icmeler. Very clean resort.
Have many friends over there now and cant really fault the place in any way. Seems to be lot more younger age group going over now so more dance bars etc. although in general music stops at midnight - there are a couple of places you can still go after this.
I would say though that there's plenty for any age group if you look around, from nice quiet turkish restaurants to lively dance bars and now even nightclub with foam party! (although i have yet to have this pleasure!).
Beach is fine shingle rather than soft sand, but doesnt really bother me as really cheap to rent a sunbed/cushion for the day. Sea always really clean too.
Would i recommend - definately - and i'll be back again tomorrow - cant wait!

Having been to this Resort three years ago, the only thing I can say about the place is that it is the Jewel in Turkeys Crown. A brilliant place, the people being warm, friendly and really helpful. This time, it was like visiting a long lost friend, simply magic. Restaurants, you can eat in a different one every night and you still wouldn't get round them all in a fortnight. The wednesday market is a must but you must get there by 8.30am OR leave it until after 2pm. It does get extremely busy in between.

The most beautiful little place I have visited, it was idyllic. The beaches were clean, the food was lovely and the people were very friendly, a bit over enthuisiastic about selling us stuff but who cares.
The boat trips were enjoyable as was the entertainment.
We spent all day wandering about and then laying on the beach.
We would certainly return to this part of Turkey again.

The resort was lovely went on big walks everyday. Plenty of good bars to drink in we always had a laugh. I would come to the resort again because it is a lovely place to go to.

The resort is very clean with cold water canals running thro the town,flowers in abundance,no litter or grafitti.There are loads of pubs/restaurants with nearly all offering entertainment.The people are very friendly not only in the town,but also in the surrounding area.Marmaris is close by and can be reached by water taxi or dolmus.There are plenty of excursions by boat or by coach.Drinks cost on average £1.2-£1.5 a bottle.The beach is a mixture of sand & gravel,but clean.Would return again.Have been to Turkey 13 times 4 of these to Ichmeler.

Icmeler its self is a very nice place. The shop & bar staff can get annoying as they constantly try to get you to buy something but after a few days we got used to it.
There was plenty to do. the turkish sauna is great as is the trip to turtle beach & the mud baths.
At night most of the bars have some sort of entertainment and most are showing all the british sports events.
We found a bar called 'Jimmys' not far from the hotel. The food there was excelent and the staff friendly.
We would go back, probably to stay in Marmaris as its a bit more lively.
