Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is a beautiful resort it has the beach and behind the Hotels are the mountains ,Icmeler is in a bay, you can walk along to Marmaris or get the dolmus or a water taxi. At night the resort is lit up, there is a canal runs through the resort and this is lit up with christmas lights there are also small market stalls running up the canal that sell lots of nick nacks. Every Wednesday there is a big market which sells everythig from fruit & veg to baby clothes its a must to go and see No doubt we will be back visiting Icmeler again

The resort was very clean,but the beach itself was not very nice as it was very shingly and with having a son in a wheelchair,it was impossible to get to the sea,which meant that he had to stay right at the back of the beach.
You also get lumbered as soon as you step foot on the beach by men hiring you sunbeds which were only about 80p for the day,also beware of men selling grapes and various other fruit,they will give you one to sample and then expect you to buy the lot.
Also something that drove me mad by the end of the first week were the restaurant staff on the streets hassling you to come in,if you say you say youve already eaten,they say come in for a drink then,so we ended up walking in the middle of the road after a while because it got very tiring when you just wanted a browse round.
We found the restaurants were very much the same,just different laid out menus,decent prices though,about 100 lira for 6 of us which is about 40 quid,that included drinks as well,food was very nice as well.all in all I would say the resort is very good if you dont want to venture very far,although the local dolmus were always running even at one in the morning

The resort had so much entertainment there are lots of places for music and dancing like Deniz Capizi and Dream boys.
There where others that where quiet The Chef we went on our 1st and lastnights and one of my favourites Kingsland.
We went there 3 or 4 times even if was just for a drink the staff there are VERY friendly and funny especially 'mr bean'.
There where others like my favourite place Maimi beach when you first see it it is quiet then when you are in thats you in stitches for the rest of the night there are two men the entertainer and the waiter they are the FUNNIEST people I've EVER met at a couple of points they had me crying with laughter and dancing on the table!!
Overall the town is great and the local people are friendly and a little annoying when they stop you all the time but i liked it :)
If you are planning to go on holiday there I just hope you will have as good a time that I had and you have definately made a right choice enjoy your holiday !!

Icmeler is a very pretty resort with lots or restaurants, bars and shops. You can see Marmaris across the bay and a trip across on a water taxi is a pleasant experience.
It is very clean,as is the beach.
There are lots of trips to choose from, one of our favourites being a day out on a boat with restaurant and bar and sundeck compete with waiter service and barbeque lunch included for £6.

Cant wait to go back love it in Icmeler this is the best place I have stayed at.
Been going Icmeler for many years now you should do a boat trip you will love it they are fun!
I spent a lot of time at Dreamboys/Venice/Three Bells the food is really nice as well.
Cant wait to go back in September the best holiday I have ever had is in Icmeler!!

I think the resort is really clean you may see the odd bit of rubbish but i suppose its just the same as anywhere else!
The entertainment is not great but it is o.k its rather chilled out actually but thats how I like it not too lively and not too quiet.
The waters are really clear and the beaches are lovely and soft sand but you do have to watch out for wasps which are a bit of a problem there but obviously can't be helped.
I would most definately would and will be visiting the resort again soon I hope.

Stayed in Icmeler and are going back for the third time in June.
Can't wait love the place just be prepared to be hassled but you get used to it after a couple of days.
