Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

I love Icmeler and Marmaris out of season as in the height of season Marmaris is way too busy for me, so April was perfect. The weather was good for 5 out of the 7 days so not too bad, Icmeler was mainly closed but the old town area of Marmaris was lively.

We really liked the resort even though the season had only just begun. There were many bars and restaurants to choose from.

The town itself was really clean, and plenty of bars and restaurants. Everyone was great with the kids. We done horse safari which was £14 for me and husband, £7 for daughter and son was free. Riding through the forest and then a lovley lunch at marmaris harbour, great value. Also done Jeep Safari, which was ok. Beach is ok, went at beginning of season so a bit windy and the water was very cold!

Icmeler was a very nice resort, but the season had not started when we visited so it was a little too quiet for my liking.
It was incredibly clean; I saw very little rubbish on the streets.
There were many bars in the resort, but all music had to be turned off at midnight which was too early for us. This was enforced by the police.
There are 2 clubs in the resort; Eastenders and Pleasure. These stay open until around 4 in the morning which would have been perfect for us, but they weren't open until May.
We tended stay in Icmeler until the bars closed before heading for Marmaris.
The beach was good compared to the one at Marmaris.
I would visit again, but I prefered Marmaris because it was a lot busier and larger.

The resort is very clean and safe you have know problem walking about at night. The bars and restaurants are buzzing all the time places to go troys, venice, tigers, dreamboys.
We had a great time and looking forwad to go back next year with are children.

icemeler fantastic go every year beach boys as i call them cannot do enough for u spotless beach and walkway plenty of trips to suit all tastes overall superb

We wont be back to içmeler again. I cant write the reason here but you will undersnt why when you go there and when you have meal in any restourant in out.

the resort itself was reasonably clean,rubbish left in side streets but not to offensive,we were very dissapointed with the resort as we did not expect so many big music bars all competing with each other,the din was horrendous,and all the hassle we got from all the bars was just to much,and occasionally they got really rude with us,the part of the beach we chose to use was quite nice and clean,we would vist the resort again but only if we stayed in the old village which we thought was charming quiet and hassle free
