Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort of Icemeler was wonderful with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. You do get hassaled a bit but everyone is so nice.
We eat in some lovely restaurants and the food everywhere was excellent. We particularly enjoyed Wayside, the Lighthouse and Richards Bar which is a must especially if you enjoy dancing and cocktails.
Fabulous is a word we would use so go and enjoy.
We hope to return in the near future.

Icmeler itself is very pretty and after travelling through Marmaris etc i have no doubt that Icmeler is the place for me, the setting is quite spectacular with mountain views and pretty seafront were you can go on boat trips etc, it has everything.

The resort is very clean all over, there are not many beggars on the streets bothering you and the place is very well lit up with street lights.
Bars and resturants are all over the place, everyone of them is worth visiting although you could never do it, they are all pretty much the same the only difference is the prices they charge, some are cheaper than others but they are all cheap anyway.
Entertainment is all around you everywhere you look, the bars really do make an effort to keep you busy and smiling throughout your stay.
One bar inparticular named the CD Bar is trully worth a visit, here you get a quality service and an excellent variety of food and drinks, the waiter service is first class unlike i've ever experienced, the effort made is unsurpassed at any standard.
The bar manager who's name is Angelo is a real nice man who cares for his customers and treats them like part of his own family.
The beach at Ichmeler is not the best i must admit, the shingle sand is a pain as it is really coarse and it gets real hot.
At the beach the facilities are great, there is a couple of shops situated just behind the beach and these sell refreshments etc (much needed).
There are some good deals with speedboats and jet-ski's for hire and these are good for seeing the resort from a different angle, if you hire a speedboat you can travel across the sea about 1-2 miles and check out the resort of marmaris, or just go out about 1 mile and throw the anchor overboard and have a swim in the sea, trully great, i hired one and loved it.
Overall we loved this holiday through and through, we are saving up already to visit again, its the best place we've been so far and we've been as far as Cancun in Mexico but nothing compares to this place it trully is an excellent choice.

The resort was very clean, there was regular dustbin men and road sweeper van.
There is plenty of entertainment day and night.
The walk to the beach was not far at all and plenty of water spot activites.
We will be back next year at this resort.

Icmeler is a wonderful place to visit the people are friendly although they will try to get you to visit their premises, be polite say no they accept this and will still be friendly.
Turkey is not cheap I belive it compares to UK and Spain.
The enetertainment is usually the staff but is good fun.
The food is fabulous try Turkish resteraunts don't live on febs, they can be a rip off £1 for the breakfast £3 for coffee we self catered for breakfast.
The beach is clean but is shingle we tended to stay by the pool on sunbathing days but other people we stayed with swore by it, it is your choice.
Would we visit here again "YES" I think eventually the prices will go up too much, it is being driven by joining the eu what the Turkish people don't want.

This resort is spot on for families its clean tidy and there is no bad behaviour from anyone.
The entertainment is first class with a number of Fun Pubs starting at approx 10pm and strictly by midnight the music is turned down or off so people can sleep.
There are places you can go to for further fun one being Eastenders which is open to 4am with a foam party each night.
A great place is the canal area with Dreamboys fun pub a cocktail is served with a difference with all staff so friendly.
The resturants are great. you must try The Love Boat it looks very expensive but its not and the food is first class you must also look at the Hotel.

icmeler is a wonderfull place i would recomend it to any one.the turkish people are all nice some a bit too nice:D
The one bad thing about turkey is the hassel you get from the restuarants and shops.
if u are going to icmeler for entertainment i would recomend for day time jeep safari quad safari and lazy day(boat trip to 5 bays) they are sooo entertaining but do not book these trips with you rep (they rip you off bad style)i recomend erekoys(ask for eric or ozzy) across the road from captain bull shits restuarant. they has the same trips at cheaper prices. for night time the stella show is a must see it is a drag show from blackpool it is hilarious.(the stella show is at the harmony bar). i also recomend a night out in marmaris excellant night life.

Icemler was ideal - not too big or small. Loads of watersports along the beach - search for the best deal.
The bars stop loud music by 12 0'clock and lots close by 1pm, lots also stay open later as well but without the disturbance that you might get in some resorts.
In my opinion this resort is geared up for families and couples. The beach was clean and the sunbeds tidied at the end of the day. On the whole there was a good balance of everything.
Sometimes the poolside music blares out from each hotel as if they are in competition with each other.

icmeler its the best resort you you can go to.if you want life partying drinking fun its there,so is the peace & quite.one of the best trips we go on is the surf & turf,a boat trip with a difference.look for it in the town center.one of the best things about this resort is we never got bitten by mosquitos we did when we went to marmaris. the beach by the elif is run by osman a true gent.we will keep going back to icmeler & the elif as-long as it does not change too much.

Icmeler was a lovely clean place, beach gorgeous especially when I'd read reports of it being horrible.
Sea nice.
Not much entertainment. No films playing in bars like at Zante and Cyprus so on got fed up of an evening.
Would go again maybe on our own.
