Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icemeler is the ideal place to holiday as it is clean, friendly but most of all it is compact, by that I mean you don't have to walk miles to get anywhere infact its only a 10min dolmus(bus) ride to Marmaris.
But you really have no need to go to Marmaris as Icmeler has it all oh except a pie shop but if you want one then susan's of bolton in Marmaris will deliver them to you(0555 483 08 46)there gorgeous.
The only down side are the staff of the restaurants mythering you to go in but its only to be expected in Turkey. If your polite its no problem.

The resort of Icmeler is a quiet and friendly resort, dont get me wrong if you want to go clubbing and have a ball its there for you but if you just want a relaxing stroll or quiet meal you can also have that.
The turkish people are the friendlist I have ever met(after the Scousers ha-ha). They really go out of their way to assist you, Shopkeepers, restaurant workers and hotel workers are so friendly.
I would go back to Icmeler tomorrow it is such a nice place.
Took a taxi boat over to Marmaris and came straight back as it was like Blackpool without the tower.
The boat ride is very relaxing and while your in Turkey dont forget to have a turkish bath, well worth £18 of anyones money.

The resort is very clean we didn't see any rubbish and we were so surprised no insects, not one of us came home with any bites.
Icmeler to me was not too busy but busy enough to have a great atmosphere. There was no hustle or bustle of the larger towns and no pushing and shoving or people getting in the way. It was Perfect.
I personaly will go back sooner rather than later before it gets packed with people and apartments/hotels.

Had a great time.
The staff are friendly & helpful.
The hotel is a bit remote but the local dolmus are frequent and cheap. If you are a family of 5 then you can get a taxi to Icmeler for the same price as the dolmus.
The entertainment staff work hard and if they can keep my 15 yaer old son ammused for two weeks then they deserve a medal.
As for the shop it is ok but a bit expensive.
The waiters are superb and are worth a mention and our thanks.
Book trips in Icmeler as it is much cheaper
We will go back.
PS. the happy hour is great 2 joogs for the price of 1

The resort we stayed in was Icmeler it was always very clean and there was never any rubbish.
The entertainment was much beter in the town than in the apartments and the waiters were always very helpful and friendly.
The beach was good but I wasn't really there that much but when I was there I enjoyed it.
I recommend this resort and I will be going back I'm even thinking of moving when I'm older.

Icemeler was a nice family resort in which we felt safe which we took for granted until we went through to Marmaris. Lots of restaurants to choose from and apart from the apartments we liked the following ...The Three Bells,The Chef,and The Old Kitchen.
Found trips to be excellent value and the kids especially enjoyed the Jeep Safari which was a laugh a minute,also Mud Baths and Lazy Day trip which all included a nice lunch.

Icmeler is a very nice part of Turkey.
It is very clean and the weather is good mostly not too hot but sometimes it can get very hot.
Some of the bars will offer you a free drink if its very hot.
The entertainment in Icmeler is good its never boring there.
It is best to visit places like the Wonderboys or the cd bar if you want to get to know the staff, and if you like it to be lively there is eastenders bar and pleasure which are clubs.
The beach is nice with loads of things to do in the sea but we never really went to the beach that much some of us did paragliding and that on the beach.

I loved Icmeler it was so beautiful, I loved Marmaris long before Icmeler but I would say I prefer Icmeler now it is so magical, so lovely scenery and lovely little streets with loads of plants/hanging bushes trees ach its just beautiful.
We loved going on the wee train that went around Icmeler, it was so lovely seeing the old village, they must think we're daft always dying to see them, but sure that's what you love doing on holiday and they don't complain in Icmeler when you love to watch them in their daily life, so easy-going, so lovely.
The lovely sun, smell, sea and way of life would make anyone want to emmigrate there who had half a brain. Thank you Icmeler, Thank you Turkey.
