Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort is very very clean, considering when you go to the loo, some of the ladies toilets have a touch sensored hand drier(very impressed!!)
The entertainment after 10pm is excellent. All the restaurants on the canal get the dishy waiters dancing to all the dance tunes and try to involve all the clientelle. Everyone of all ages seems to love the entertainment!!
My one and only disappointment with Icemeler was the beach because itis all shale. On going on a boat trip, all the coastlin seems to be the same, Pity.
Still would go back to Icemeler, loveley, friendly people

Icmeler is great.
Just a nice mix not too lively and not too quiet,the locals are friendly and helpful.
Turkey is the cleanest place I have been.
Resort entertainment is fab, you have to eat at summer garden and the waterfall, but we never had a bad meal during our stay.
For something livlier majestic boys, friends and wonder boys are well worth a visit, I just loved the waiters doing their turkish jig.

We've been to Turkey 3 times now and every year it seems to get better and better. We'd never go anywhere else. Icmeler has a market that runs every wednesday where's there's bargains to be had. You've got to get up early though! The market is right at the top of Kayabal Cad, just past Tansas. I'm not a big fan of the beach but it is quite nice. The water sports are really good too. Hiring a pedalo is highly recommended.
At night when you're out relaxing and having drink etc you'll probably notice some sort of smoke/mist. The first time we noticed it we thought a restaurant was on fire. Anyway it's actually the locals spraying insect repellent. We call it "spraying the country" That's how none of us get bitten by mosquitos.
The entertainment is fantastic, every place we've been to they always manage to get you up dancing making a fool of yourself. We got really friendly with the staff in the Pop In restaurant (i'd recommend you go there, excellent meal of the day) and one night the head waiter Huseiyn told us to go to another restaurant. we did and were treat like royality. Turned out he'd wrote a note saying "look after these people, they're our family!" Bless. A few restaurants to give a try i'd say would be,
-Pyramid
-Travellers Rest (English bar) does great curries!
-The chippy (Scottish owned) great for cooling off after the market
-The old famous kitchen (best chinese in the land)
-Pekings
and the Pop In! BOGOF drinks all night and Joseph is a complete nutter. He balances trees on his head! Plus if he's dancing he'll make you dance too.
We're already booked up again for next year. Can't wait!

Icmeler has more restauarants per metre than I thought possible!
We ate at a different one every night and never had a bad meal always at a very cheap price (the best being the Loveboat which is a must).
The waiters also double as your entertainment in most of the restaurants and they are amazingly funny and always happy.
We were there in high season and nowhere was full or even seemed busy which was strange at first but ment we often had 4 waiters to our 1 table!!!
The downsides of Icmeler are that the music in the bars has to stop at 12 (altho there are 2 good nightclubs which are both open til 4am) and the beach isnt great, its like grit and isnt very wide.

The resort was lovely it had loads of shops so I shopped all the time.
The entertainment could of been a bit better because there wasnt really much to do until the evening. The beach was lovely and the weather was unbelieveable it was so hot about 44 degrees wow!!
I would recommend it to anyone!

Icmeler is a small, laid back, relaxed and very pretty resort.
Peaceful but lively without being brash. Plenty to do and wonderful bars and restaurants. Loads of shops selling jewellery, clothes, bags, shoes,jeans and Simon the herbalists shop is a must for naturally flavoured Turkish teas and Turkish delight.
Much better quality than the sugary stuff usually sold. The beach is much better than Marmaris and only 10-15mins away from apartments. Try the European Diving Centre for that unforgettable dive. Boat trips, Karaoke, waiters who dance sing and entertain you at all the bars and just chilling out with a good meal and conversation with friends or locals are the order of the day.
Music goes off at about 12(midnight) in the resort but the fun doesn't stop. Beautiful and clean, friendly and relaxed surrounded by Pine clad hills and enclosed by it's own bay but easy access to Marmaris and other places of interest. it's the best place in Turkey to go for your unforgettable holiday.
You will become addicted to this resort but don't tell too many people as we don't want it spoilt.

The resort is nice and quiet but there are many shops for the bargains.There is a karoke bar on the beach which is very good also there is a bar where they have a drag act on right on beach front very entertaining.It is not a very big resort but the beaches are beautiful and full of water sports.The market day on wednesday is an experience not to be missed.

all bars and restaurants are only a few miutes away and are
fantastic with entertainment going on in most of them,
the beach is superb and plenty of watersports going on,
a turkish bath is a must, also turkish night brilliant entertainment.the street market was great but go early it gets very hot in the afternoon.alvaros a must for food, and the waiters put on a fantastic show.

The resort is very clean. It gan get very hot at midday so i would avoid walking around 1pm. If you want some good entertainment you should try the dreamboys! They also have their own site that i would reccomend! The only downside of Icmeler is that you get punters jumping at you from every angle. But that never puts me off from going back every year!
