Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler was much bigger than we expected, with ample restaurants and bars, too many to mention.
A must for us was Richard's Place which is just 2 minutes from Pinewood. It served very good food and the staff laid on the entertainment. A special mention to Metin, Devilman, Billy, Donny, Apo, Leo, Hakim and Tom.
Hope to see you all again very soon.
A must is the Jeep Safari, it's an excellent day out, but just a word of warning, make sure you wear sensible, fairly flat shoes, as they take you to a waterfall, which is lovely but abit of a rugged trek.
We also went on the Gokova boat trip and the Dalyan boat trip both were excellent. The Dalyan boat trip included a dip in the mud baths which is quite an experience.
The meals provided on all the trips was very good.
It was £10 each for each trip, which we found to be very good value for money, but did book them through a local travel company and not through the Rep. For example the Reps Jeep Safari was £24 each.
The beach at Icmeler is ok, with adequate sunbeds, we paid 2.5 Lira per bed with a mattress and brollies for the day, which is just over a £1, good value for money.
We would definately return to Icmeler.

Icmeler is a beautiful resort, clean with plenty of entertainment for all.The beach was ok (shingle)and safe enough with plenty to do.
Paragliding ,pedeloe's.jet ski etc.The only put off for everyone we spoke to was the amount of hassle you get from the Turks to go into their restaurant/Shops it really is driving a lot of people away as they just dont know when to take the hint and leave people alone. They really are a pain.
One point I would make is they dont accept all English £10 notes. My wife was being refused entry as they were saying the tenner she had was "old" money. It was only for the fact that friends we were with had other English notes got her entry into the country as we only had travellers cheques.
Their attitude was they couldn't care less whether you get in or not!

I will definately be returning to Icmeler. The resort is brilliant.
There is plenty of choice as to where to eat and drink. We only managed to get through a hand full in our fornight's stay. Places ranging from the loud and fun to the relaxing and quiet.
Plenty of things to do both day and night. Wide range of trips on offer all excellent value.
The streets are kept spotless as is the beach. Hospitality of the people in Icmeler is fab!

The resort of Icmeler is not as small as I expected although it is nothing like Marmaris in size.
It offers bars& restaurants in abundance too many to go to in a fortnight.
We went on the jeep safari, which is a must it is a fantastic day, we were recommended to book through Tungay travel. Near Harry’s steak house £30 for the 4 of us including lunch. Excellent day out.
There were so many trips to choose from at excellent prices.
The only downside for me was the continual hassle from the people in restaurants, bars, shops etc. I was told before I went, but I didn’t expect it to be a bad as what it was.
It gets really tiring and frustrating and when you show you are fed up with them they take offence, so be prepared for this!!
But I would definitely recommend this resort, if you don’t mind the hassle

The resort is fairly quiet with not much by way of entertainment save some dancing by bar/restaurant staff. There's plenty of bars and restaurants and all seemed to be fairly good. We particularly enjoyed the "Three Bells", the"Lighthouse", the "Welcome Inn" and the "Rest or Run" as places to eat.
The "Tin Tin" bar/cafe was also very nice for a beer/coffee, scones and desserts.
Having been in Turkey last year we found that the price of everything had increased but was still good value.
Only minor irritation is that every restaurant has people trying to grab you and get you in to their place as you walk past.

Icemeler is a great family freindly resort, no late night music.
If you are looking for the laid back Turkish atmosphere this is it.
