Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is the best place to go on holiday and I'd recommend it to anyone! (as we have have been going to icmeler for the last 13 years!)

Icmeler is a wonderful place very clean beautiful views fantastic entertainment for families. Great and cheap excursions all in all a holiday not to be missed!

I have noticed a few negative comments about the people trying to get you into restaurants. But, really they will accept a polite "No Thanks".
What can I say. The beach is spotless. The food in bars/restaurants is excellent. Traffic in the town centre is virtually none existent and the people so friendly.
For a night out it is easy to find anything from a noisy disco style restaurant to a quite subdued surroundings.
I have been to many places but have fallen in love with Icmeler.

The resort itself is beautiful. Paradise on earth being spoilt by loud music eveywhere. One bar competing with the next to see who can make the most NOISE !

We have been visiting Icmeler now since 1993 always have a great time. The resort caters for everyone young and old.
The Turkish people are always friendly and we have made some good friends over the years.
Looking forward to September for our next hol. We spend a lot of time in the majestic restaurant where we always have a good time with the staff, also we visit Charlies's restaurant Jemel the manager is always friendly and has been friends for years. Tommy's is another good meal near old village.
Icmeler is growing year by year, we have holidayed all over Turkey Icmeler is far the best.

I have been to Icmeler, with my family, five times now and, I will be hoping to return in 2006.
The Turkish people, who are well known to be friendly and helpful, appear to be even more so in Icmeler!
Smaller and more relaxing than it's neighbour Marmaris, Icmeler has beautiful, spotlessly clean beaches where you can soak up the sun, or perhaps join one of the daily boat trips which take you around the coast, visiting secluded bays and islands.
The weekly market is a must, and don't be afraid to haggle with the traders. In fact it's a must. There are plenty of bargains and dont forget to try the local fruit and veg. Beautiful!

This was the best holiday I've been on. The resturants service was amazing they couldn't do enough for you. I had food intolerences at the time and they were so accomodating. It catered for all ages and was just a really nice place to be.
Also the jewellery is beautiful and such good value for money. We got our wedding rings there and I'm thinking about going back to get my wedding jewellery before my wedding.

The resort of Icmeler is very pretty, the locals are friendly, and it is very cheap!
