Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort of Icmeler is clean and picturesque with a beautiful beach. It is a safe crime free resort with the best clean restaurants I've ever been to.
The local police are friendly, and keep a keen eye on the resort music is turned down quiet at midnight which is a good rule which may be a factor in keeping the " british yobs away.

Location was excellent. Not much hassle in the shops which made a refreshing change.Very friendly locals and shopkeepers.The beach was lovely and clean, as was the sea, with plenty of sunbeds and helpful beach attendants. Lots of boat trips to go on and very reasonably priced.Icmeler market on Wednesday was very entertaining and we got some good bargains but go early (8am)because it gets busy and very hot.There are plenty of bars to visit and lots of entertaining bar staff.Icmeler is a brilliant place to go and well worth a return visit.

myself and my husband have been to icmeler for 7 yrs twice a year and i wouldnt go anywhere else the locals make you so welcome,their so friendly i wouldnt go any where else

Icmeler is a lovely resort with very friendly people, I would definitely stay in Icmeler again, just not the 'Club Tokmak'.

Icmeler is a fantastic resort, this was our first time to Turkey, the people along with the lovely weather make everything worth while, you couldn't wish to meet so many friendly people as you do there.
Children were dissapointed about the beach-little pebbles instead of sand!!! how do you build a sandcastle.

No bins or rubbish anywhere,the cleanest resort we have ever been to.
No smellls of drains either like you get in Spain,plenty of entertainment to suit all taste. Beach was alot bigger than Marmaris and more spaced out with sunbeds. Didnt need to leave beds all day,the guys would fetch and carry anything we wanted.
Lovely resort ,only gripes was with Dalaman airport going home,hopefully sorted by next year.

Lovely clean resort,not too big,not too small.
Turks not in your face as much as Marmaris. Definitely better than Marmaris in every way.
Entertainment everywhere after 10pm when you,ve eaten,beach larger than Marmaris more spaced out with beds.

Icemeler is beginning to be quite a busy town. Majority of shopping is either jewellery or copy designer handbags and clothing!
The beach is tidy but very hard under foot as it is shingle.

Very noisy, not as quiet as people said, got on your nerves a bit with the hassle of bar staff trying to get you into their bars, but just be polite and walk on by!
Only about £1.50 for a beach bed, although sand and sea could be a bit cleaner, ie there were loads of cigarette butts in the sand that were not cleaned away daily, which was a bit of a shame. View on the beach around the bay is lovely
