Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is a naturally beautiful yet relaxing place to stay. Very scenic, very green and a superb place for a family holiday or a couples holiday with its vast choice of eateries, shops and markets. Spent a fotune on the jewellery and some bargains still to be had if you haggle with them.
It is without doubt the most relaxing holiday I have ever had. This is made by the exceptionally high level of hospitality afforded to you by everyone you meet.
The only drawback for me was the beach. Very gritty in places and not paticularly good for kids to walk or play on without adult supervision and sensible footwear.
Icmeler is a place/resort you will return to many times.

The night life here is fantastic you are made to feel very welcome, you can not go out in this place and not have a good time impossible.
It is spotless everywhere you go, kids will love it as there are good parks all over the place just take a walk around, it's bigger than you think.
Becareful on the beach with kids the water gets deep quite quick.
I will be going back here for sure the people are so nice and you can have a good laugh with them.
Excellent place is all I can say.

This was our first visit to Icmeler after reading so many reports on HT and we were not disappointed, We loved it. The resort was really clean, They are always hosing down the shop fronts. The resort is very pretty and the view coming in from Marmaris of the bay is lovely.
There are numerous bars and restaraunts and I am sure we missed lots of them. We had a good night at Dreamboys, visited the Chill Bar a few times to meet John and went to the HT party, missed the boat trip which was a good job, hung over from the night before. Had some nice meals, the Loveboat was really nice, the Titanic was also very good lovely steaks and my friend had a salad, which in a lot of the restaraunts they could not understand that she wanted this as a main meal, but they made her one up at the Titanic. Also had a meal at Murduno Chicken in Marmaris, which cost us 15 Turkish Lira with a beer, very cheap.
Spent 3 days on the beach, the sunbeds and umbrella cost 5 Turkish Lira for the 2. Beach is shingly, but okay and you get a nice breeze.
We both loved the shopping. Came back with a case full and still did not spend all my money. We always went in the same shop on the way back to the apartments and the girl in there was really nice did not hassle you at all. She was telling us that she works from 8.00am in the morning until 1.00am at night 7 days a week.
The hassle is not too bad, the first day was the worse as we went out early to get our bearings, but if you say you have already eaten, then it is not too bad and everyone is so friendly.
Well this will not be our last visit, already planning to go next year, but will do a private transfer instead of the tour operator. Didn't take too long when we arived as we only stopped at 2 hotels in Marmaris, but 3 hours on the way back.

The resort is beautiful I have been back 10 times and travelled to many other countries around the world it is the only place I keep going back to.
It is a peaceful resort, you don't get much hassle like other resorts the people are lovely and very friendly.
It has a beautiful beach, quite a good choice of shops and restaurants which serve great food.
It is certainly a resort for couples or families a lot of older people like the resort as they feel at home there.
It is not for groups of young people it is more a family resort.

Loved Icmeler, would visit again. Plenty of lovely restaurants to choose our fav's where Maestro/Heaven (down by the beach) little bit more expensive but worth every penny. and Romance (beside the cross, where bus drops off)
Did not like the beach here, as not sandy, kids not able to play with buckets etc, hired jet skies which was good fun, spent days around the pool instead. Only downside was the hassle from waiters to eat at their restaurants, gets to you after a while (takes the enjoyment out of just looking and walking down the road).

Icmeler is a beautiful resort and we are going back next year but unfortunately not staying at the Club Petunya.
Lots of bargains/haggling
The turkish people are so friendly.
there is a bit hassle from the Turks trying to pull you into the restaurants/shops, but a polite no usually gives them the message.
We would definitly recommend Tommys bar over the bridge from the Petunya for all drinks and food. The boys there were so friendly - we will miss them.

A good all round resort food very cheap but we found drinks quite expensive £4 for a spirit and mixer, can recommend the dream boys bar and the pirate bar think it was called kelso.n

Icmeler was just awakening during the first 2 weeks of may with more shops and restuarants opening every day.
It was clean, with plenty of cafe's, bars and restaurant - to suit all tastes.
The beach was also clean and we were well looked after at the Cavaliere, there are also plenty of reasonably priced water sports available.
