Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Third time back to this resort, it's still lovely.

Cleanliness could not be faulted.
There was no entertainment as such, but we found the staff to be more than entertaining, in a quietly sophisticated manner !!
Probably not for the people who wanted a raucus, boozy holiday. You only had to nip out and across the way to get that, but it was far enough away not to disturb you, and on the whole finished at midnight.
The beach we loved although not a lot of sand.
We have been 3 times not and would go again.

The resort was reasonable, but there was little entertainment outside the hotels, and most of the restaurants were biased towards European food or junk food. It was difficult to find a genuine Turkish meal! Most of them were selling pizzas, fish & chips and "real English breakfasts" The beach was very good. We were informed that it had been artificially created, so it was safe, and it was very clean.

Icmeler is lovely though feel its fast becomming like Marmaris and less quiet.

I have given resort entertainment a 3 as a lot of the bars/restaurants were not my cup of tea.
Look towards the beach and this improves.

The locals are all very friendly. As we went in April it was quiet and the resort wasn't fully open.
A couple of days before we came away Linikers Bar opened which is where we had breakfast a couple of times this is because they served proper bacon (a lot of the other bars/resturants serve fried ham).
The beach was a cross between gravel and sand.
We would go back to Icmeler again as it was in a great location, where if you wanted something a bit more livlier Marmaris is just up the road.

I think the resort is the area i.e. Icmeler and Marmaris.
If so, there were many cheap but good quality and cleanliness. Although a few had food on the tables, it was because just as we arrived families were leaving as most places were extremely busy.
The Sun and Ozzy's were our favourite restaurants.
We were warned away from the Champagne Restaurant but we never went there so don't worry about what I say.
Although another couple went there every night.
We got a 5 course meal for £3.99 in Marmaris. But I can't remember what it was called.
I wasn't too well so I can't comment on our visit to the beach, except for the fact it was large and had many sun beds crammed in. Two sun beds under each parasol but you had a ten foot square space for every two sun beds.
They were a few stray cats around but I only really noticed them on the 4th day. We read a report saying they were vicious but I'm not exactly a great fan of cats. Every one I've ever seen has scratched me. We had a family of five cats (one mum and four kittens) living below the pile of sunbeds next to our ground floor balcony. One of the kittens did scratch me slightly but that's natural for cats around me. I didn't get ill so, they can't be that bad. Thanks. Bye.

Very clean people very friendly you dont get much hassle if you say NO very firmly. Lots of entertainment in resort.
Plenty to do, pleasant places to stroll or longer walks if you want them Something for everyone.
Wednesday market a nightmare in the morning but quieter in the afternoon but same things sold in canal market and underground market.

Icmeler is in my opinion the best resort I have been to.
I have been to Icmeler 9 times over the past 7 years so I guess its safe to say that I do like it.
It is suitable for all ages from couples to families, everybody is catered for and the people look after you well.

Icmeler is an ideal resort for all catagories of visitor and with everything you may want in close proximity.
Bars for all age groups, top class restaurants.
The beaches are clean and spacious with all kinds of water sports on offer.
Sixth visit to Icmeler in four years and already planning next years visit, if you don't want to become addicted then avoid, as Icmeler gets into your blood.
