Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

the resort was very clean,but every other day the noisy sweeper came around and woke us up at about 8:30.
the river smelt a bit because it was full of sea water!

The resort was clean and well laid out and there are loads of great bars and restaurants (my favoutite was Antik). The beach is nice, with plenty of cheap sunbeds. However, be warned, this is not a resort for serious clubbing or partying. Every bar has to turn off the music at 12 midnight and this is strictly enforced. This puts a real damper on the evening as literally everything is shutting down at 1am. There is one club - Pleasure - but apart from that there is not much to do late at night in Icmeler itself (go to Marmaris). Icmeler's main selling point is its compact size, lovely restaurants and the friendliness of its people - you are really made to feel like you 'belong', even after a short period of time. I would come back for a relaxing holiday..........but not if I was looking for a more full on holiday.

The resort is very clean and tidy and well maintained, building work is not allowed to be carried out during the tourist season, which is a major plus.
The resort has an excellent selection of restaurants to choose from. Most of them have a very varied menu and are orientated towards the English. I would recommend the Love Boat, which is themed on the 80's TV Programme, the food there is excellent. For traditional Turkish Cuisine try the Kerem Restaurant by the Canal.

This is the 2nd time we've been to Icmeler in 3 months. We love the place, it was like going home to see friends.
Everythings clean, plenty of variety of entertainment to cater for all (doesn't go on too late- but you can carry on partying in Marmaris), beaches are looked after and plent of watersports around, all the staff are polite and friendly.
We think it's great, we will be back.

Too many restaurants and bars to count, all very friendly.
We made quite a few new friends in the staff of some of the places we visted.
Only visited the beach once, but there we plenty of sunbeds availabe at a very reasonable price.

The beach is quite small and i imagine would be pretty cramped come the high season, but is kept clean at all times.
Not sand - more like cat litter!

We had a wonderful time in Icmeler and made some really good friends on our two week stay. There is plenty of things to do, the food was excellent and all the people are so nice and they can't do enough for you. We will definately be going back to icmeler next year as we had such a great time.

The resort of Icemelar was wonderful, much better than Marmaris (we stayed there last year).
The beach was very clean, and there are plenty of bars to eat in if you choose.People are very friendly as well.

As this was the first holiday my partner and i had been on, we wanted to make sure that we went somewhere that was quite lively and had lots for us to do. Icemeler had it all! Great entertainment, food, drink, watersports, markets, everything we wanted. Everyone was friendly and upbeat which gave off a great atmosphere everytime we went out.
Nothing was expensive. All the restaurants had first class service as well as the bars. A favourite bar of our's was a place called 'Majestic Boys'. We were there more or less every other night as the staff were welcoming and friendly.
We were so impressed with the holiday that we have already started looking for our next hotel next year at icemeler. We definitely recommend going.

The resort is brilliant the people can't do enough for you, its great for families, couples and 4 girls travelling together although they do get slightly more attention than they want sometimes.
