Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

First time in Icmeller, I now know why people speak so highly of the place, so many excellent restaurants and bars, Loveboat, Majestic, Venice, friends bar the sports bar to name but a few.
We had a fantastic boat trip along the coastline, rather than share we along some friends paid only £150.00 for the whole day for 15 people, including lunch, our boat was called Canan, the owner also has a restaurant of the same name next to the Babadan Apts, both reccomended.
The jeep safari was also a great day, bit nervous at the start but once you get going great fun.
Roll on 2005.

Lovely resort with lots of shops and restaurants. We would recommend The Love Boat for a steak that you won't forget, it was fantastic. Just the right amount of nightlife to make it seem like a holiday without being too noisy for families looking to relax.

Icmeler is a very friendly resort - more for families than the young 18 - 30's. The resort has great restaurants and bars. This year the music had to be turned off at 12 o'clock - a little early for my liking. You've just started to enjoy yourself and the music stops - however, they will serve you drinks until you want!!
We are not "beach people" so can't really comment - not a sandy beach - we have a better beach at home in Essex, but the water is clear.

Icmeler beach is busy busy busy(august). Most of the german holidaymakers use the beach as opposed to the pools.
Boat trips are abundant, but check out the boat you are going on before aggreeing a booking. there are loads of boats doing same trips for the same cost, but some boats are past the knackers yard date.
restaurants are everywhere, but the best by far has to be The Waterfall restaurant, excellent food, staff, choice and value. (The waterfall special casserole is a must as are the steaks & sauces).
The Love Boat restaurant is also a good choice especially for pasta dishes.
Love or Hate Icmeler, you will take home some great memories and you will never forget your stay there!

Icmeler itself is lovely. It is kept spotless and they clean the roads daily.
The entertainment in the bars/restaurants is second to none.
Apparently the crime rate there is 2%. It was lovely to be able let my daughters have some freedom without having to worry constanly.
The music is turned down come 12pm but bars stay open until the last person leaves.
We only went to the beach one day. It was very clean with plenty of sunbeds. There are also the normal rides i.e. banana boat and pedelos.
Icmeler is a beautiful part of Turkey which we will go to again and would recommend to anyone.

Icmeler is great. Very chilled area with bars and restaurants. There's loads of shops dotted all around sporting the fake designers, but also selling gorgeous clothes for unbelievable price (jeans £10). Theres a short bus journey to Marmaris which is the busy part. The bars and clubs are outstanding, with foam parties going on till 5am and clubs with sofas outside to crash (and we crashed hard). Definatly somewhere i'll be going next summer- move over Ibiza, Magaluff and Falaraki... Hello Marmaris!!!

Icmeler as a resort I simply cannot fault in any way.
It's in a beautiful location, a simply gorgeous bay surrounded by mountains.
As mentioned earlier the beach and sea are fantastic. There's plenty of water sports available.
There are so many amazing restaurants and bars, particular favourites of mine were Prince fun pub and Friends bar near the Metropolis hotel. The workers were so friendly and everyone was having such a good time. A truely fantastic place, already arranged to get out there for 2-3 weeks in 2005.

The resort was wonderful for families and catered very much for children and there was plenty of entertainment.
The bars encouraged you to dance , eat and be merry, even offering to pick you up for free if you were going to eat at their establishment.
Was a lovely place to visit, great location, lots of daytime activities but the beach was a bit of a let down but all in all, would definatley visit again..... in fact I am in 2 weeks time!!!!!!!

The beach and scenery was spectacular, with the warm, crystal sea and and wonderful views. Entertainment was good, the bars having to turn the music off at midnight or they get closed down for three days. Trips out were great, particularly the boat trips and they were very reasonable priced. Lots of watersports to try. The constant haggling for goods everywhere is fun at first but gets a bit tiring and the continuous harrassment by every single bar and restaurant is exhausting and annoying.
