Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort is lovely, very clean beaches, the entertainment is very good you can go for a quiet meal or drink but if you want something more lively there is plenty. Yes we will be going back, we have made to many good friends not to.

There is everything you could want from a holiday in Icmeler; swimming, food, shops, bars, and people so friendly they make you feel as if they would do anything to make your visit one to remember!! Icmeler has a strange affect on a lot of people; it makes you feel as if you're home and gives you a sense of belonging; or at the very least, it seems to draw you back, year after year! If you don't believe me; go for a vist, you'll see what I mean! Maybe we'll see you there! Who Knows?

lovely clean area with lovely walks no hills everything flat beautiful view of mountains and sea very peaceful, but a great variety of nightlife and the local lads give great entertainment in the bars people can not do enough for you and make you very welcome. the market was fun and entertaining with their banter. the food and drink is so cheap we had a two course meal and drinks all night for around £15 excellent value for money.

When we stayed in Marmaris a couple of years ago we often went to Icmeler because the beach is much nicer,so we decided to stay in Icmeler for this years holiday.Our favourite restaurant and bar were The Majestic and Bamboo,the Stella Show at the Harmony Bar is a must.

The resort itself is very clean and the walk along the beach front is spectacular, lots of entertainment round about and shops and markets brimming with goods to bring back home.
The beach is very clean even though a lack of bins don't stop it from staying clean the bin men must be invisible.
Try a gullet cruise you might feel a little apprehensive to begin with but well worth the money very interesting and food lovely.
Local market on Wednesday very entertaining, just like being back home.

I have to say the blatant sales drive gets a bit irritating, rug factories every time you go on a trip?
Come on!!
And the photographers are appalling watch out as you end up looking like something from the living dead, better to ask him not to take photographs you only end up feeling sorry him and by the end of the holiday you will have an album full of pictures of you looking like mr and mrs dead!!!
The Turkish night is not authentic but very funny, if you watch carefully you will see clips of star wars, something from a john Wayne movie, a native American imitator swinging a jar with a tea-light in it, a disco dancing champion with a permanent botox smile and an older version of Wayne sleep doing a brilliant version of Pinocchio.
There are lots of good quality imitation designer clothing, bags etc in the shops. But by the end of the holiday you just begin to wonder whether there is any thing genuine about turkey.
Everything is fake...... Sorry!!! Apart from the Turkish delight.
Also please beware!!! Check your duty free allowances as shops and airport staff will try to sell you more than you are allowed.
If you are naive and buy more you will have them confiscated at home. Lots of people are being caught out as they aren’t't aware they are only allowed 200 cigarettes

The resort of icmeler is fantastic it is so clean not a bug in sight. The night life is buzzing and a favorite place of ours was The Three Bells where the waiters danced on the bar and a regular group of breakdancers had you sitting on the edge of your seats they were so good. Also if you like to eat out there is a lovely restaurant called The Majestic which we would recommend. The beach is small and lots of sunbeds but is ample if you are a beach person we on the other hand like to walk on the beach and admire the views which is great as there is a path which you can walk along that will take you around the coast to Marmaris. The market is another good place to visit if you like to barter and pick up a good bargain in leather. Loads to see and do and we hope to go back next year and see some of the sights we missed this year.

i stayed in Icemeler and it was great the people are friendly and the resort is clean. The beach is great the entertainment is great.
I particulary liked it at the Friends bar and helped out behind the bar for a few nights and the No Name bar is also good.

I stayed in Icmeler, we stayed right on the boarder of the town so it only took a few minutes to walk there.
The town was really clean, everybody was nice and polite and they would just stop you and talk to you only if you wanted to, they would never pester you.
I would really love to go back again and visit the friends I made in a restaurant!!!!!

We stayed in the Old village of Icmeler - we really enjoyed the breath taking scenery, mixing with the local folk of Turkey definately one to return to. the resort was so clean the entertainment is fantstic, but not too struck on the single beach in Icmeler.
