Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

This was our 2nd visit to Icmeler so we already knew our way around , The resort had not really changed that much apart from bar name/staff changes.
The beach, although pleasant and well suppliied with sunbeds, bars etc may be a bit too shingly for some (it is not very good sandcastle material!!) although we found the sea safe for probably all children.
The nightlife revolves around drinking and eating with many of the restaurants providing entertainment of a varied nature suitable for everyone,the food is generally of a high quality and , as everyone will no doubt confirm, the Turkish people are extremely friendly, particularly with young children.
Although we frequented many eating places we preferred the more authentic restaurants,particularly Selims (facing English chippy) Ozlem cafe (near corner Cartier bar) and Golyeme (residential area in centre) many places to drink including the aforementioned Cartier bar (under the Black Sea Rest') no food but relaxed atmosphere and great for people watching, OFK for food and drinks , and The Havana bar at side of Alinda Hotel (go and say hello to Za-Za- he's crackers!)
Good trips include Jeep Safari (highly recommended for little as well as big kids!!) - take plenty of water bottles!!!!!!!!!!!!, Turtle Beach boat trip is also a good one (both booked with Rami at OCR)
Icmeler market on wednesdays and Marmaris market on thursdays both good with Marmaris probably shading it (get your haggling head on!)
Marmaris water park is bigger than Icmelers but is probably getting slightly dated now (depends what water parks you are used to + age of kids)
All in all a good family resort, ( no-one wanted to leave!)

been to a lot of resorts over the years and icmeler cant be to far away from the best i have been to . the people are so nice ( even the ones who try and get you to eat or drink in there bars ) a polite no usualy did the trick . for entertainment i can reccomend the 3 bells bar and food the taj mahal and the peking palace if your after good british grub the travelers rest will be hard to beat . if your going to icmeler im sooooooo jealous

The resort was clean and safe. Everything was easily accessible within walking distance.It is possible to find any sort of food you want at reasonable prices. Entertainment is more family orientated so it's not the place for 18-30s seeking a wild time.I would go back. we were only there a week and just felt we were getting to know the place.
If you like an Indian try the Taj Mahal- with its chef from Bradford!!!!

Icmeler is a lovely place to stay. The town is very nice and so is the beach, and in the restaurants they do great entertainment. Everyone is so friendly aswell. We would definatly go back!!

We loved the resort of Icmeler, everybody is very friendly. Our two sons could't wait to spend their money on all the designer copies and there were lots of lovely eating places to choose from, expecially the Three Bells which had lovely food and lovely staff.

Though we where unhappy with our Apartments Icmeler is a lovely resort. The people were excellent with us, very friendly and very helpful.
The dolmus stopped right outside our apartments which was convinient, and just a short walk away you can catch the river boats to Marmaris and Turunc.
We were also very handy for the walk upto the main street where there are plenty of Restaraunts, Clothes shops and gift shops.
Would we go back to Icmeler YES !!!!

Icmeler is a really nice and clean resort with plenty of bars and restaraunts.The waiters are really friendly and love to dance.The beach is very nice and the sea is safe to go into,there are also plenty of boat trips from the peir.I would certainly go back there again.

Just come back from Icmeler for the fifth time and won't be the last! Great holiday once again there! Local People very friendly! Entertainment great for all ages! Loads of bars, dancing bars, live entertainment, clubs and restaurants! Very good food throughout the resort but can't get round everywhere! Very cheap still aswell, so get in there before the Euro! Beach is very good, sea is very clean and lots of watersports on offer, not forgetting the local boat trips that run daily which is ideal to book along the front as its cheaper than what the reps offer! You've got to go there! Place to be!

First time in Icmeler. What a great resort. We found it very clean, there were so many restaurants to choose from and the food was excellent. We tried many different places to eat and all our meals were nice. If we had to choose our favourites we would go for The Titanic, Friends, The Moonlight, and The Old Famous KItchen (excellent sunday lunch) but poor magic tricks with the disappearing cigarette.
