Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

What can I say. We both love Icmeler and will be going back in September for our 8th visit. That alone must say a great deal.
As soon as we see the bay on the transfer from the airport, it's like coming home. The resort is very clean, roads washed everyday and all the resaurants and shops seem to hose everything down several times a day.
The beach is lovely and never too crowded, at least not when we visit in May & September. For those of you that like sand you may be a little dissapointed as it is like a fine grit but it is always kept clean and tidy. All the beachboys look after you and nothing is too much trouble.
Entertainment wise, there is such a variety there is never enough time to visit everywhere you would like to go. You can find places to suit everybody and every mood. Whether you want lively or quiet there is plenty to choose from. For the younger set Marmaris is so close for the really lively evenings but staying in Icmeler means you can have the best of both worlds.
There are many excursions that you can go on, booked locally they are very good value for money and extremely enjoyable.
Would we visit this resort again, well I think I've already answered that. It is such a beautiful and friendly place where we always feel safe and very welcome. The people who work in Icmeler are absolutely wonderful. They remember you visit after visit and treat you like family, maybe even better as you don't get the arguments.

icmeler is the nicest resort we have ever visited.the beach is narrow;long,and very well kept,in most areas of beach their are even ash bins supplied.their are numerous bars and restaurant all of which are of very high standards of cleanliness.you can opt for a candlelit dinner at many places.or you can visit a curry house,you can even find an english fish and chip shop.if you want entertained you can have anything from kareoke to an old singalong.

I have stayed in Ichmeler many times now. To me this resort is a lot cleaner than marmaris.the beach is very clean and to my surprise there is security at night, probably only hotel security (there are many hotels on the beach).
I look forward to the Wednesday market; keep an eye on your valuables!
There are many very good restaurants, too many to choose from. Some of them entertain you with dancing and generally are very hospitable to everyone there.
We are returning to Ichmeler in May. This will be my 5th time to turkey and I always end up spending my time in icmeler, need I say more!

Icmeler was very clean,it is a diverse place where you can choose what type of holiday you want The old village is quiet and quante nearer the beach things are a little more liveley. The sand on the beach is course but it's a nice beach. The resort was lovely.We enjoyed the boat trips, the Turkish bath, the hairdressers various restaurants and bars,and what more can you want.It is central to anywhere you want to go and not as much hassle as in some of the resorts.

Having traveled some 2 hrs and feeling tired what a site to behold as we dropped into Icmeler, beautiful!
The resort was spotless, the food was to die for, the service 1st class, the beaches could become very busy but we always managed to find a space.
Entertainment was very good despite it being the quiet neighbour to Marmaris everywhere we ate some kind of show was put on even if it was just the serving staff.
I have to say if you are looking to go clubbing this is not the place for you, however it is easy to travel to the much bigger resort of Marmaris.
I think the resort is ideal for couples and especially families.
Oh and by the way we are returning next year

This is an excellent resort I have visited 2 other parts of Turkey and so far Icmeler hasn't been beaten!!
There is plenty to do day and night and is also a short taxi or water taxi ride away from Marmaris.
The beach is very long and nice and is plenty of entertainment on them!!
I will definitely be visiting again one day.
The people are also very friendly.

Icmeler is lovely and clean, with extreemly friendly people who truely will do anything for you.
Plenty to do for both young and old, with a lovely clean beech - gets better the further right you go.
Been back 10 years on the trot, and hope to continue returning for the next 10!
