Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort was lovely and we are returning in sept well to Marmaris but will be going to Icmeler people are so friendly especially the staff at the old famous kitchen, the beach was lovely

Icmeler is nice and clean and the beach is very good.there are numerous boat trips you can go on and they are very good value for money.The bars and restaraunts are all very good and the entertainment is very enjoyable.

icmelar is a nice clean smallish resort, the entertainment around the resort is very good with somthing to suit everyone's taste from karioke to pub quizs discos or justa quiet drink,the beach was well located from the hotel just a short walk away, plenty of sunloungers and the beach was very clean.i would definately return to this resort again, without a doubt

Icmeler is a lovely resort, nice and quite with Marmaris a small journay away.A must for any couples or families.
Nice and clean and a place i felt very safe walking around.Lovly shops and great restaurants.
The beach is great with nice bars over looking the sea, and for the very active a lovely walk to Marmaris along the beach which takes a good hour but with lovely bars on the way .

We ventured out most days and Icmeler was much nicer than Marmaris, although there were local boat shuttles (Dolmus) to Marmaris if you prefered somewhere more bustling.
The local market was fun and everyone seemed so friendly. I know you get hasstled a bit but you shouldn't go to Turkey if you object to it - that's just how it is.
We loved it.

What can I say about Icmeler to do it the justice it deserves, the beaches are well looked after with an abundance of sunbeds. There is a resturant to cater for all tastes, chinese, indian, italian ,good old english and of course the best of all turkish, it is a must that you try at least on ottoman pan.
There are an abundance of resturants I dont think you could eat at everyone even if you stayed for 6 months some I would recommend are, Friends( near the cash machines) the Taj Mahal and the Old Famous Kitchen (you can get the full range of ethnic tastes here).
All resturants seem to have entertainment, food tends to be served till 10pm (you can eat later ) then the music starts, this goes on till about midnight then the music drops down to a moe sedate level, nice for winding down.
There is a whole range of entertainment available ranging from kareoke,quiz nights, break dancers, drag acts, traditional turkish nights, you may even get to meet a turkish bride and groom and join in the wedding festivaties, surfice to say there is something for everyone.
We have been to icmeler 3 times and will definatly be going again and again and again.Icmeler a relaxing sedate, but not dead resort just the place to unwind.

The resort has the most spectacular scenery from any of the front Hotels. We have stayed in 3 Hotels there now and the views are fantastic. The Beach is lovely and clean the restaurants are cheap and the turkish people are so friendly. They cannot do enough for you.

Icmeler was a better resort for families. Having a 3 year old in tow we didn't sample much of the nightlife. Don't like going to the beach, so unfortunately didn't see it. We are visit again this July, but unfortunately the Bahar was booked up so were off round the corner to the Mola Apartments.

Icmeler is one of the prettiest resorts I have ever been to. The canal area at night is all lit up and the town has a real friendly atmosphere. I think there is only one disco in the town...Pleasure but numerous fun pubs and restuarants. If you want your nightlife livelier you can always pop across to Marmaris...5 mins and 40p away by dolmus bus

the resort was peacefull and well looked after. once a week the place is thouroughly sprayed with insecticide. we loved icmeler lots.
