Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort is a really nice place, I love going to the markets. We have always found plenty to do but as we dont have kids I couldnt say what it would be like for kids. Here comes a strange thing to say but my husband had really bad tooth ache last time we went and had to go to the dentist. He went to the one on the main road, I was a bit concerned cos it was a really run down building but inside it was spotless (cleaner than my own dentist at home). We enjoyed going to the Three bells and also the taj mahal does a wicked meal. Only went to the beach once, it seemed ok.

the grand prides it self on the staff keeping the place spotless and boy do they do a grand job.
the entertainment was second to none it was brilliant
we visited the beach many times with the grandaughter who enjoyed the water sports..
as to visiting the resort again we cant wait to go back in sept 2004.........

The resort of Icmeler is lovely a bit for every one, it is very clean and well positioned to get around Turkey.
The beach is beautiful with various excursions, I recommend the boat trips around the different bays.

We have just returned from Icmeler for our fifth time and are already looking for next year. It's got to be the best place in Turkey, but don't tell everyone, they will all want to go.

The resort is very clean and very picturesque, there are great views in Icmeler.
The beach can be very busy.
The restaurants and bars are also very clean, staff in all of Icmeler have always been very polite to my husband and I and very friendly.
We will definately be back.

A good resort, quieter than the bustle of Marmaris, but with plenty to do and see. Lots of jewellery shops, with some good bargains - remember to negotiate prices.
Excellent range of restaurants to chose from, although menus tend to be similar in most places.
Plenty of lively music until midnight, in outside bars (we believe that music bars / disco's inside may be allowed to continue the music later.
Beach is clean, with plenty of sunbeds / umbrellas. Worth considering one of the boat trips round the bays, with bar-b-que lunch, - very good value for money. Take plenty of sun cream.

We go to Icmeler at least once every year. We've been to most Med countries, but keep on returning to Turkey. We realise that this resort is very 'ManMade', but we enjoy the place. Since this holiday, we had 2 x two weeks holidays here in summer 2004 and have booked for June 2005. Enough said.

Ichmeler is a great resort - not too busy and crowded like Marmaris was. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We liked Mr Cooks which was situated across the road from our Hotel. Got a bit of hassle but typically Turkish in that it was good humoured and all part of a holiday in Turkey. Mostly English people staying in Ichmeler so well catered for. We would go there again.

Icmeler has to eb the best place to go to, i wasnt sure at first when my parents suggested about going on holiday with my granparents and them, i thought how could a place accomindate for older people and youngesters and make sure very one has a great time, but it does. each places makes 0-90 yr olds feels as welcome, its great and without a dout it is my 1st choice froa holiday!!
