Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is a delightful resort , offering a choice of lively or more sedate entertainment (the choice being yours).
There are a variety of shops and a small market on a weds . Both offering designer (fake) items , as well as spices etc.
Regular Dolmus and Taxis offer access to Mamaris and other areas. There is also the more relaxwed option of a Taxi boat

I found Icmeler to be very clean & tidy. The Turkish people take a pride in what they do. Entertainment & places to go in the evening were great, would definately recommend the Wonderboys very close to the Mirage + the Majestic Boys, both places provided entertainment. Also recommend the Harmony Bar who had a drag act on, again that was a very entertaining night.
Tried many different restaurants and did'nt once have a bad meal - found food at La Fontana exceptional! service was outstanding too.found the beaches to be clean, particularly liked beach in front of Green Sea as quieterthan main section + lunch very good from there. Most certainly return to this resort.

First visit to Icmeler, we really loved it. It is a small resort unlike Bodrum or Alanya which is where we had visited before. Icmeler has great shops but even better reataurants, the Old Famous Kitchen has the best food that we have got in our three visits to Turkey. This small resort is about 6 KM from the bigger resort of Marmaris, if you want to shop in the bazaars or go clubbing. The Turkish people in the shops, bars and restaurants are extremely friendly and are not as pushy or as in your face as those in Gumbet but we found some of the sellers in the market on Wednesday in Icmeler to be extremely rude and arrogant, something we have never seen before in Turkey.
Overall Icmeler is well worth a visit.

The resort itself is very clean and friendly with a lively atmosphere.Ideal for people of all ages.Steven who is 2 doors from the Mirage arranged some trips for us and was extremely helpful friendly and sincere. On the whole we made a lot of friends and enjoyed our holiday in Icmeller.We would go back to the resort but find different accomodation.

You really have to venture into the centre of Icmeler if you want nightlife although Marmaris has a much wider choice of bars and discos. It's only a five minute journey on the Dolmus Bus into Marmaris and costs 2 million lira, which is only about 80p. There is a canal in the centre of Icmeler that they call 'Little Venice' and there are lovely restaurants on either side of it. There are loads of Jewellery shops in Icmeler and I have never been disappointed about the valuations I have had done on anything I have bought. If you go, you must visit a little bit of Turkish Heaven called 'The Magic Garden'. It is family run business and perfect for just sitting and relaxing having a drink or two. The family are lovely and the father has his own art gallery in the house which is open to visitors. Our favourite restaurants in Icmeler were, Charlies Steakhouse, Set, and Tom's Place which is part of the Sahin Palace apartments.

the resort was particularly clean including the man pools which were checked every morning. it was a sandy beach, free and include water sports. i would recomend this to any family. its the bst holiay we ever had and would go back ad time.
ONE TIME THERE WAS EVEN A TORTOISE ON THE GARDENS. EVEN THE ANIMALS LOVE IT!!

There is alot of shops and bars in icmeler with dolmusus who stop anywere to bring you back to your resort for just 1'250,000 lira whch is just around 50p. You do get hassled a bit to go in to their shops and restaurants and it can be annoying but apart from that the holiday was great!!!!

Great resort would reccommend this. A combination of needs catered for quiet if thats what you want or lively areas for younger family member. Marmaris only a short ride away.
