Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

icmeler in turkey is a lovely clean resort. it is ideal for families who like a slower pace at nightime.We ate in a lot of good restaurants here and all very reasonably priced

apart from that we had a fantastic holiday its so much fun and there is so much to do the beaches are fantastic the night life is amazing and to top it off thr resraunts are beautifull, i would defenatly return to icemeler and i would highly recomend it to anyone, wewent on a few excursions the best was the turkish mud baths lots of fun and its something diffrent aahh it was so loveley. Also i would recomend a lovely resraunt called freinds it's beautifull and also so much entertainment but the food is delisious. The beaches are so relaxing and you are always gaurnteed to grt a sunbed and dont even need to get up to get a drink as there are waiters on the actuall beach serving your drinks. absolutly amazing holiday....

Icmeler is the best resort i have stayed in! It is clean i never saw overflowing bins or rubbish anywhere. Entertainment was very good as was the standard of the beach. The staff in all of the places visited could not do enough. There was however a lot of people( shall i say encoureging )us to go to their establishment but a simple no thank-you was sufficent to stop this. One word of warning the Turkish people will remember you so, if you do say you will return to their bar/resteraunt they will expect you to do so. The local market held on a wednesday was without a doubt the market from hell the temp was approx 50 degrees and there was hordes of people looking for bargins. If you are a market lover then there is lots of cheap items to be had if you can stand the heat and crowds. We went on three trips while staying in Icmeler namely the Jeep Safari,the mud baths (with a visit to turtle beach)and to cotton castle. The trips to cotton castle and the mud baths were long days but well worth the effort and the jeep safari was fun if you are inclined to a good old water pistol fight. But take heed do not buy your water pistols before you go as the trip organisers remove these from you then charge for rentel of these guns from their own stock and you do not get your own returned. We booked our trips from one of the many booking offices in the resort the service was excellent and much cheaper than the reps prices. My advice to anyone looking at Icmeler for their holiday is to go you will not be disappointed i will be booking soon for 2010.

All main parts of resort were clean.
Enjoyed entertainment in resort bars and restraunts- staff work very hard serving and entertaining customers.
Beach was more like grit than sand but had plently of activities and we were able to get drink and snacks if needed.
Would definatley visit resort again as really pretty place with plenty to do and see.

Everywhere is kept very clean. The choice of restaurants is 1st class and prices very good, you can eat out for as cheaply or expensive as you like. You can get a 5 course meal from £5.00 with a full english breakfast from a £1.00.
Never actually went to the beach as we had a great time by our pool but what we saw of it when out walking in the evening looked very good. We are definately going back again

very clean resort lots and lots of bars and restaurants turkish people are renowned for their hospitality and icmeler was no different nice small resort everything in walking distance lovely canal very pretty area lots of quiet places to sit and people watch yes we will be returning

Icmeler is not as busy or noisy as Marmaris and would say it is ideal for families who want a good beach, clean resort and great restaurants. It is a very clean resort with the road sweeper and bin men being out every day and you rarely see any litter lying around. Entertainment in the resort varies from karaoke, restaurant shows and Nightclubbing, so something for everyone. Beach is nice and clean, the only criticism being that it is quite coarse in terms of the sand, but the sunbeds and umbrellas are really cheap for the day, and plenty of watersports available at the beach and the main ares where people swin are cordoned off to prevent jetskis, etc causing a problem. Been here before, came back again, and will definitley come back in the future

The resort was very clean and it was always getting cleaned. The pool was always very clean. The entertainment was good in the hotel, in the everning such as turkish night. I would definitely recommend you to go there if you are loooking at going to Ekinci!!

Lovely place, nice and clean. Would visit Icmeler again.
