Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The beach was of a poor quality dark gritty sand and packed right to the sea.
The resort was clean and quite pretty.
If you stopped to look at something in a shop, you were hassled mercilessly and they are masters of selling. Not that easy to haggle a price down very much. They are not allowed to follow you though so as long as you move away you are OK.
Prices were comparable to or more expensive than the UK.

Icmeler is a beautiful resort with something for everyone, although I must admit if I had known previously how lively and large the resort was I may have been put off. Resort bursts into life - and noise at 10pm but thankfully quietens down again at midnight. You do get hasseled as you walk to dine, shop etc. however, away from the main streets are superb bars and restaurants our faviourites have to be Salem and Lemon Tree both serve freshly prepared delicious meals in wonderful surroundings and served by the nicest people we have met on our travels. The beach is beuatiful although can get quite busy, sunbeds are charged locally. Some parts of the beach offer a waiter service, where the wonderful Mustafa will see to your every need without you ever leaving your sunlounger, unless you wish to try one of the many watersports available.

As most people know Icmeler is a remarkable friendly place to go to and you never get fed up with it, Even when I book to go to Marmaris I still go to Icmeler every day of my holiday.

Icmeler was full of numerous bars and restaurants. Beach was a little disappointing as the beach was shale and the sea full of stones and pebbles. Numerous trips on offer; Dalyan - too long on a boat, 5-point boat trip which was great value for money if an all inclusive ticket was purchased, and the Turkish night - waste of money! Best restaurants: Ozzy's, Cubana, Robin Hood and Romance. Stay away from the dreadful Sonny's.

icemeler is a lovely resort very clean and everyone is very friendly. there is plenty of entertainment if you want it and quiet places if you dont there is something for everyone.
the beach is ok but not sand but the bay is lovley.

This is our 5th visit to Icmeler and it just gets better every year, have made a few friends over the 5 years and its really nice to go back and see them. Resort is spotless, definitely less hastle from the shops this year which was a bonus. Beach area is beautifully kept apart from the holidaymakers who just spoil it by leaving all there rubbish on the beach. Resort entertainment is great and if you want a bit of nightlife they have a few clubs or you can always take the bus to Marmaris.

Icmeler is a lovely resort.If you want to have a quiet night you can but a busy nightlife is not far away.
Good entertainment for families in the main part of the resort.
There is also some fantastic trips to go on and see the traditional side to Turkey.

Great resort,good eating places though spent most time at the Castle,beaches are very clean, people are great too.

Generally clean around the resort, entertainment good but all entertainers travel from bar to bar, so can be samey. Good value food in bars if you look around as some are over priced. Beach front very pretty.
