Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The people of Icmeler are quite persistant in trying to get your custom.Once they have got it they treat you like royalty.Food in restaurants is gorgeous.Three places worth a mention were The Mellisa,Pyramid and Florida.Our favourite bar was the Irish Bar.Never got bit once by mosquitoes,which has to be a massive plus.

The resort had breathtaking views of the mountains, and was kept very clean. Minic the DJ was hilarious, he had a fantastic sense of humour and became a great friend to us all. We'll be back!

This is our 5th time to Icmeler so its like a second home to us now. The places we go to eat are Artemis ( to see Mr Turbo) had 2 meals there and both were very good. Taj Mahal for a curry.Went to The Waterfall but didn't really like the meal there. Light house , Olive Tree were nice as well. Romance is good as well. we didn't go to Turkey last year and the guys in the Romance still remembered us from 2 years back.For all our genuine fake stuff we go to the Three Sisters they are really nice in there and not pushy. my son bought 6 footy shirts in there and all very good quality. We bought some gold from a shop called Turkish Eye and the guy in there wasn't pushy at all. We love this resort and the people here are so friendly.

We prefered staying in the old village,which was a short 10 min walk from the town centre, away from the busier part of Icmeler.

The resort is alright but the beach is durty and not sandy.

icmeler is a very clean and friendly place the beach area is clean and the walk to marmaris is enjoyable

The resort of Icmeler had everything to offer for families or single couples. Loads of resturants to choose from ours being the Chief next door to Love Boat. The meals at the chief you got quanitity and quality. We never ate in the Love Boat but friends we made said the Love Boat was expensive and was all based on the presentation of the meal.
For entertainment the Romance Bar was our favourite entertainement all night. Belly Dancers Jugglers and of course the staff they really went out of their way to make sure you enjoyed yourselves well done Guys.
The beach was not so nice for us having children they wanted to build sandcastles but was like grit and mud mixed together the sea was more like a cold lake. And my god anyone ask me if i want massage or grapes they drove me mad. Seven times in three hours a guy asked me if i would like grapes. But hey ho thats Turkey. All in all a great resort loads of entertainment and loads of nice places to eat. We would return one day.
Oh and the only other thing dont bye Gold on a chip and pin they told us £500.00 for a gold chain thank god we got an update via moblie for balance on account we were actually charged £650.00 they tried to say was the exchange rate kicked up a fuss and finally got money back so be careful when spending on gold.
