Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

resort very clean. entertainment was ok , beach standard very good. iwould go back to icmeler again

Icmeler has grown over the past few years but has retained it's village character.
It is a nice clean family resort with a growing number of noisy music bars but come midnight all music stops.
The beach is never overcrowded and has all the normal para-sailing,banana boats,jet skies etc that you would expect from a holiday resort.

because it was so cheap we budgeted to eat out if we had too. which we did. we found a lovely restaurant 5 mins walk away called Angel Inn. The owner has his own boat which he takes out saturdays for family and restaurant customers for a very good price of £15 per person.The food at the Angel Inn is excellent and a lot of it.
the resort is lively and the beach is very clean. I prefered Icmeler to Marmaris.

Icemeler is lovely. Waiters are great in most bars, Food is not expensive and we never had a bad meal, a great one is NOEL/LEON everyone there is great.

icmelar is a beautiful resort,plenty of places to eat and everywhere is very clean.plenty of water sports on nearby beach.

The resort is clean, locals friendly and there are so many lovely places to eat, too many to mention, you will just have to find out for yourself! The Stella show is well worth a visit and the day trips are good, try the lazy day boat trip and the jeep safari. Icmeler market is on a Wednesday, if you enter into the spirit of it and try bartering it's good fun. Can't wait for our next holiday in 2009.

Icmeler is great for all ages. With is blue flaged beaches you can't go far wrong.
The Bars and resturants are lively with great food. Dreamboys and Cafe Anne are brilliant. All the staff are hot, helpfull, dancing on the bars and keen to involve you at Dreamboys. Cafe Anne is low key and great for lunch during the day. Heaven is also good for some singing. The music is loud to about 12 when it gets quite and you can sit with a cocktail and chat to the waiters. Pleasure and Eastenders are the places to go from 1 onwards. Eastenders has a foam party and alot of the turkish lads from the bars go to Pleasure after they have finished work. These clubs stay open to 4 in the morning.
If you have got a young teenage girl be prpared to recive some hassle, but its harmless and won't effect your holiday. In alot of the bars you get several free drinks if you go there more than once.
Icmeler is perfect for relaxation and lively fun, there is no need to go to Marmaris at night. My parents are in their 50s and they can't wait to get back next year, neither can I. I enjoy it so much that I'm going for 4 weeks in 2009, 2 with a group of friends and 2 with my family and a friend. You feel so welcome and safe in Icmeler, nothing is too much trouble.

The Resort of Icmeler is clean and tidy. The Entertainment in the Restaurants is much of a muchness but that seems to be what it is like in Turkey. The waiters enterain the punters. Again this Resort is perfect for a couple with a young family as the beach is clean and safe.
