Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

we have stayed in icmller many times, it is a beautiful place the people are so friendly and the night life and resturaunts are plentiful would visit again.

we found the whole resort brilliant and a wide choice of activities for our son.

the resort was not too bad, but the beach is overcrowded with the sunbeds and the stone beach was just awfull,but the water is marwelous.we went on couple of boat trips and that is were we enjoyed the clear blue water.

Although slightly out of main resort, it was a pleasant 5 minute walk in a well lit area, if you didn't want to walk into main resort then it was not a problem as there were shops and restaurants on your doorstep anyway.
Very clean resort, can't fault it in any way. Every pub/restaurant had their own version of entertainment - tribute acts, barman dancing on the bar etc. All in good taste and good fun.
Fantastic jeweller called Firuze - couldn't do enough for you - so helpful, no pressure or hassle. We were recommended to go this shop and so glad that we did. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We chose Icmeler as it is smaller than Marmaris and less of a gauntlet of shops and restaurants. There are decent boat trips available and regular dolmus transport to Marmaris costs 2YTL each way and takes about 20 minutes or so if excursions are desired. There are jeep safaris as well. It is very picturesque with forested mountains all around and all the regular shops. The market on Wednesdays is a 3 minute walk from Oren Apart where we stayed. It is definitely worth visiting with a great selection of textiles and food.

the resort is very clean and new. the entertainment is there if you want it and not too far away. beaches are fab and the staff on the beach very entertaining throughout the day

first time to icmeler and will certainly be going back. people very friendly (sometimes over friendly).
