Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Resort was very pretty and although we noticed a lack of public bins for rubbish the place seemed to be very clean. Lots of nightlife if you like to party but also lots of quiet bars for a quiet drink. Found the pop in bar in town on a Thursday night at 1am and it was nice and quiet (2 pina colada,s for 12 lira brilliant) The show in the Majestic in the canal area was superb on Saturday night and thanks to Sinbad from the majestic for the invite , the kids loved it

Ichmeler beach is man-made so no soft golden sand. However the sea was clear and clean and the sun bed hire excellent. Lots of bars, restaurants all with good menus and good food. Mr Chef has to be recommended for it's very helpful and friendly staff. They went out of their way to get me a bottle of my favourite drink! Can also recommend the Wayside (a little more expensive but worth it) and the Romance. You do encounter hassle when passing bars etc., but mostly they are polite and not overly intrusive.

Get a bit fed up with constant hastle but not as bad as some countries. Staff never seem to forget a face and are friendly.
Beach is all shingle which is annoying but clean and easy to get a sunbed at a asmall cost.

Resort very clean and tidy, beach not the best.
Locals extremely friendly and welcoming with plenty to do without being over the top. Hassle can be a pain but you get used to it and most can be shrugged off or laughed off politely

The resort was also really good loads to do plenty of places to eat. The people are so friendly and helpful and so much choice. Mr Chef is the best place to eat just a 2 minute walk from the apartments opposite Ozzy's. Great food and the staff are lovely really helpful and so welcoming nothing is too much trouble.
Mud baths is a great day out and well worth the long boat ride on which you see the most beautiful scenery. Turkish baths well worth a visit and for the men a proper shave for £12 and loads of pampering thrown in.

icmeler is the most enjoyable peachful place during the day but comes to life at night ,shops so cheap but always haggle they not hassling you as much as previous years but had a beautiful holiday would recommend

Icmeler is a wonderful town,where you have the option to party or relax. Very child and family friendly.

THE SURROUNDING AREAS ARE VERY BEUTIFULL. WE WENT ON THE ALL INCLUSIVE BOAT TRIP WELL WORTH IT AND THEY REALY LOOKED AFTER YOU. TAKE AN EMPTY SUIT CASE AS THE CLOTHES ARE DIRT CHEAP. TURKS ARE ALWAYS HASSLING YOU AND IT DOES GET YOU DOWN A BIT. THE WALK ALONG THE CANAL AT NIGHT IS BEUTIFULL. THE TURKISH WEIGHTERS INT THE BARS ARE VERY FRIENDLY THEY ARE ALWAYS DANCING AND GET YOU UP. IF YOU DONT LIKE TOUCHY FEELY THIS RESORT IS NOT A PLACE FOR YOU. WE WENT IN JULY/AUGUST IT WAS TOO HOT WE WENT EVERYWHERE AT NIGHT. BUT YOU FEEL SAFE. IT IS VERY NOISEY BUT IT ALL STOPS AT 12.00 MIDNIGHT.
