Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Palm gardens is minutes walk away from the main street of Icmeler and is on a quiet side road. Bliss compared to the husle and bustle.

the resort is very clean everywhere i went. never seen anything bad.
the entertainment is great!!! we all loved it.
all the waiters in every bar you walk past are all dancing and trying to lure you in. i dont know how they keep this up every night.
once you are in a bar, they cant do enough for you.
the beach is sand and shingle and the water is crystal clear.
i would visit this resort tomorrow if i could.it is such a great place to be

we have been going to icmeler gor the last 10 year and have had a great time the turkish people are lovely and very helpfull will dom anything to make you welcome and comfortable we have had great times in icmeler with our family and also on our own nrilliant hols

icmeler is a lovely place and we go back every year but just not to the castle appartments again the turkish are usally very friendly and help you in any way .

fab restaurants . never had a bad meal. beautiful beach and pretty canal area all lit up in the evenings.very clean and excellent value for money.

We liked the resort itself, and thought it was pretty clean, and despite the dried up canal, there wasn't any bad smells or piles of rubbish. We didn't really go into any of the loud pubs ('cos I'm boring)but can highly recommend the "Kerem" Turkish restaurant, where we went 3 times. The food is fab and much more traditional than many of the others in the resort. The staff are lovely too. It's on the right hand side of the road leading down to the beach following the canal,past the "Wonderboys" pub (which you wouldn't get me in in a month of Sundays). The walk along the beach path at night is really pleasant at night too. There was generally a very warm breeze, and the beach was quite nice and clean. We went on a boat trip - the bbq and swimming in different bays one - but had a bit of a dodgy "captain" who, on return to the harbour, discovered that someone had berthed where he wanted to be, so shunted the other boat out of the way. The phosporous caves were very disappointing - covered in graffti.
We definitely recommend the resort - I believe that Marmaris is livlier though if that's what you're looking for.

We have visited Icmeler a few times now. It is a lovely place, with some really good restaurants. Our favourites are The Set and The Chef, they serve good food and are extremely polite. The entertainment in the resort has become tedious as it has not changed over the years, but there are a lot of bars and fun pubs to choose from and it is an excellent place to come if it is your first visit to Turkey. The copy merchandise is all the same so shopping is a little limited here when you have visited the resort more than once. We would visit Turkey in the future but we need to go somewhere different for a change. Also it is not the cheap place to go anymore like it use to be.

We Have Been Too Icmeler Afew Times And Always Enjoy It . The Workers In The Bars And Apartments Are Lovely And Welcoming And The Entertainment Is Brilliant. It Is Always Clean There . The Beach Is Lovely But We Normally Stay At Our Apartments . We Are Going There Next Year .

The resort was beautiful with gorgeous views. Plenty to do for all the family and we were well looked after by all the staff at the bars/restaurants we visited. Cafe Rose was fantstic food and very good value for money, even the snacks were meal size. Typhoon and his wife at Harry Rams chip shop offer great food and drink at good prices. Cabana staff were great with the kids and work really hard to keep everyone entertained.Recommend the turf and surf boat trip which was a full day out for the whole family at a good price. Good shopping if you want it (if you can bare the heat). Will definately be back next year for three weeks. Best holiday ever.
