Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

as you come out of the hotel turn right to the main road go over the bridge there is a bar called bar 23 absolutely fantastic,we ended up here every night for a few beers after going out to other bars.
bar 23 is also good for food and getting looked after.

you really wont find a bad restaurant all the food is great.
icmeler is fantastic the market on wednesday the beach trips everything was fantastic
we also went to marmaris harbour for a couple of meals,
both roof top restaurants one was called three palms and the other jan de wijk
if you go to bar 23 see alex he will ring jan de wijk book you a rooftop table and get 15% off too
if you are self catering like we did we went to the tansas which is a big supermarket which is alot cheaper than the local shops for food and water .
you will love icmeler it is amazing

icmeler is largely clean & tidy the streets are mostly curbed with ramps in crossing places for push chairs etc & it is laid out in an easy to negotiate way similar to a square grid. there is an excellent market where you may get some absolute bargains(depending upon your bartering skills) it pays to find 3 independant prices for an item you would like to buy and compare them before buying. the beach is clean and surprisingly uncrowded but the hot sand which is sharp shale is unkind to sensitive soles. icmeler is perfect in so many respects for brits being that its probably 80% brit populated and therfor no one should have any difficulty in any of the normal tourist ways.

Icmeler is a lovely place to visit there's plenty of places to eat or just have a drink, the people are very welcoming and can't do enough for you. There are boat trips which is a must it's a fantastic day out especially Captain Bullshits,the turkish baths are good have one at the beginning of your holiday it gets all the dead skin off ready for the perfect tan.

We have visited Icemeler for the past 9 years & can't wait to get there again this year. What a fantastic place. Great food, entertainment, beach and fabulous people. This holiday resort is fantastic for all, but especially families. We have stayed at the Marti, the Babadan Apts. and for the past 5 years The Moonlight Apts. which are simply the best, set in the old town of Icemeler where it is nice & quiet & very picturesque. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre & beach.

We have been coming to Icmeler for 12 years will soon be 13 as we will be back july 2009
it is the cleanest resort great entertainment and the beach is great also
if you want a holiday that ticks all the boxes then you must go to Icmeler

i have been to icmeler 5 times in total and absolutely love the resort, there is plenty of entertainment, our favourites being Dreamboys, Eastenders, Friends and Pleasure! very good fun and all the staff go out their way to make your holiday a good one. Cant wait to go back, miss this place so much! There are lots of stalls done the canal selling all sorts of things for fairly reasonable prices and theres always the chance to have a good barter. A few places may try and hassle you into their bar/restaurnat but a firm 'no' usually does the trick and if they get caught doing it they get shut down for 3 days. The beach is ok, but is more stoney then sand! there are lots of trips to do. the one where you go to the mud baths, the tombs and turtle bay is very good and does not cost too much.

icmeler is a small well laid out village with easy access to all areas, it is clean and picturesque, plenty of bars & resteraunts with local entertainment, the beach is in a bay stretching the length of the village. we will be visiting again this year as we fell in love with the surroundings.

the resort was clean and the entertainment in all the bars were good you could have your meal and the entertainment would start at 10 we went on a boat trip which was great full day out 10 pound for adults 5 pound for children under 5 go free thats all day with food included .we also went on a jeep safari that was a good day out if you like getting wet go for this one .the canal is nice lots of bars and shops in the evening it is all lit up it is really nice i have mothing bad to say about the place the market is good on a wednesday take english money tey like it i cant write anymore as it makes me sad fantastic holiday cant wait to go back .

We have stayed in Icmeler for the last 10 years and would definitely come back but to better accommodation.
