Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is a beautiful resort that caters for all. restaraunts are excellent except for The red Lion which was fair by comparison to the others.

Icmeler is a perfect balance between the hussle and bussle or marmaris and the quiet peace of the turkey towns. The entertainment was superb and cannot be faulted. The beaches were clean and well looked after. Would absolutely visit again.

Icmeler is a quieter, smaller resort next to the noisy bustling Marmaris. It has a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops. The beach is clean, well supplied with sun loungers and suitable for swimming. Ferry Boat trips to Marmaris are regular and cheap.

icmeler always has and always will be the best place in the world! paradise!
love the people, the food, the bars, the nightlife, the relaxing days and the night spent dancing the night away.
bars we visited alot this year and always do every year are:
Hobnob: great staff, good music, great dancefloor, party bar
Deja-vu: our home, amazing people, lovely food different shoes every night i love this place and miss it so much!
sevgi bar: nice small homely bar make you feel very welcome.
Pyramid restaurant: my boyfriends restaurant, lovely atmosphere, nice relaxing music, gorgeous food and polite friendly staff no hassle!!
afew other good places are pleasure club, joe's bar, korsan bar, friends bar, irish, the red lion ..all if you want a good night out!!

Good resort with high number of places to eat & drink (a large bottle of Efes can still be found for as little as 2 Lira or 85p) together with many shops. The standard of food & service in every place we visited could not have been better. You may feel hassled by waiters at times but just go with the flow as this is perfectly normal & all part of the Turkish experience! For an excellent Indian meal visit Taj Mahal (meal for 2 with bottle of wine approx £30). The bars can get lively after 10pm however the music always stops @ midnight due to Turkish Law, they do however stay open as late as 4pm. The market is on Wednesday in Icemeler & is worth a visit for bargain hunters. Visit the beach which has large number of loungers at cheap daily cost. Also use taxi boat (£3 each way) or mini-bus (85p each way) to visit Marmaris which is a huge place & well worth a visit. A number of boat trips are available & are reasonably priced which leave from the beach each day. Overall an excellent holiday for all ages!!!

Got back from 2 weeks in our wonderful Icmeler on Mon 21st July, our second time there. We had been looking forward to this holiday for so long (since we arrived back last year!) and it did not disappoint at all.
Some of the places we ate at were:
Waterfall (great as usual so we went there twice)
Love Boat (very impressed as we had not been here before)
Taj Mahal (nowhere near as good as last year, quite disappointing)
Vince’s (of course, 3 times and each meal was fantastic)
Kingsland (yuk! The food here was awful but that is just my opinion)
Venice (OK but not as good as last year)
First Moon (went here twice and was one of the best meals we had each time – highly recommend, it is right next to the Blue Rainbow – nice English breakfasts too)
Yakamoz (went to the BBQ on the Wednesday night – highly recommend)
Coco Beach (nice, but we think they ripped us off on one visit)
Cupids (great at lunchtimes – tuna sandwiches are very nice, in a crispy baguette)
We went to a few bars but spent most of our evenings in Vince’s, however:
Wonderboys was just brilliant – we met Gino, Crazy Tom, Eddie and Leo – great bunch of guys there! Go and see Leo’s Tina Turner and Elvis shows and also, Eddie does a mean Robbie Williams. A great place for all the family!!
Oscars – a good laugh in here. Saw the Whitney Houston/Bodyguard show – that was so funny.
Blue Rainbow – bar next to the hotel. Staff very friendly.
Alinda – had a couple of good nights in there.
Dream 3 Bells – very entertaining.
Overall we found that prices had increased slightly from last year but that was no surprise. However, we were quite disappointed with the quality of the food in some places compared to last year. I don’t know if anyone else found this also?
Spent every day at pool so cannot comment on the beach although the new promenade is very nice. Icmeler itself is also very clean.
Will definately be going back again next year!

The town has great restaurants and bars all very cheap you can really eat out at the most expensive a la carte restaurant for about £30.00 per person including alchol and 3 courses.
The weather was beautiful 50 degrees everyday and there are lots of things to do ie jet skiing, renting out spead boats, banana boats. They alos do great boat trips and days out all payable in the town and not very expensive.
Overall a really good cheap budget holiday. I would definatly return to Turkey again!!!!

The smell on the streets was horrific. Icmeler is def not for anyone under 30 years old!!!! I was never as glad to get home from a holiday in my life!!!! It was a holiday from hell!!!!!

Icmeler is a beautiful resort.The entertainment in the pubs a bit old fashioned but the waiters try to make sure everyone enjoys themselfs from the very young to the very old.I will be visiting Icmeler again I thought it was great value for money.
