We stayed in the Hotel Balci in Marmaris for one week which was long enough! The main areas in the hotel were lovely especially the pool area. The staff were very good except the head waiter who kept hassling us to go to his stores in the bazar. The rooms are small which is to be expected in Turkey but the shower was only one and a half feet square which is ecptionally small even by Turkish standards. I would not stay in this hotel again and I would not recommed it to anyone. It is ridiculous that a tour company would choose this accommodation for it's clients

We stayed there for 2 weeks the main area was clean and tidy as for the rooms the were not cleaned as they state in the brochure ie bed linen never changed and had to argue with staff to get clean towels.
The head waiter thinks nobody has a brain and tries to manipulate you into going to his so called shops so he can get commision also they try to overcharge you at every opportunity.
Apart from the head waiter all staff were great and entertain you all day and night.
The location was good for the beach and shopping as for staying there again no but I would go and see the waiters again.

Good location not far from resort centre with a few good restaurants nearby.
Pool big for Turkey with slide, but kids pool very small.
Staff very nice & friendly. No english sat tv, english fun pub closed as was the terrace bar/restaurant (all listed in brochure). No entertainment at all and the same 2 or 3 rubbish CD's every day.
Bedrooms small, but ok, maid in every day, shower was tiny & doors falling apart. My husband is over 6 foot & found it difficult to bend down to pick stuff up in the shower.
Breakfast was usual turkish, we tried snacks, but quickly decided to eat elsewhere.
Didn't put us off our first visit to Marmaris as we will be going back next year, just to a different hotel!!!!
