We found the Hotel and grounds really pretty~particularly the lemon trees~ and the cleanliness was excellent.
The food in the restaurant was really lovely.. the staff very friendly and efficient.. bending over backwards to make sure we were well looked after and had enough food and drink etc.
There was no bacon on the breakfast menu but there was sausages although we didnt eat them, they were like a hot dog type sausage so didnt really appeal to me. Omelettes are still being cooked at the far end of the restaurant, and we had those most days for breakfast with the beautiful fresh bread. Cereals are there and always fresh fruit and boiled eggs and the typical Turkish Breakfast type food.. cheese and cold meats etc. The choice was excellent.
Lunch usually had soup on the menu and I have to say, it really was nice, my son always had some and he's not a great soup fan. There was always the fresh salads and olives and cold things... they always looked lovely and fresh. The hot food usually had chips or wedges, meat dishes, pasta dishes, rice, vegetables, curries, casserole dishes etc... it was always lovely. Ice cream is served throughout Lunch until 14:30..
Dinner usually had a soup of some sort as well.. and the usual salads etc and the hot food usually consisted of the casseroles, Turkish meatballs etc, vegetarian dishes, fish, vegetables, chips etc... we really were spoilt for choice, most nights the barbecue was lit and the meat cooked on there which was really nice to see..
A midnight snack was also served at around 23:30 until 00:30, i never actually went in for that but a friend did and said the baguettes that her and her husband had were lovely.
The snack bar is open at various times during the day, cake was put on at around 4 pm and pizza was on from about 2pm til 4pm, chips etc were also avavailable at the snack bar.
The bar was open from around 10am and didnt close until around 1am, the staff were great and were always busy cleaning tables and emptying ashtrays and always had a smile on their faces. Coffee machine and cold drink machine was also available all the time in the Pool bar area.
The animation team were a great bunch, always full of fun. I cannot remember all their names but Keep an eye out for Alex, Bam~Bam and Ranco, they are really funny characters.... Alex is always trying to rope someone into something usually shooting and water gym/aqua aerobics etc.
Ranco is a mischievous chap. He always tries to look stern and tell us off and shout if we are not joining in enough, he is so funny, I cannot believe that he can actually speak the next day as he shouts so loudly (all in good fun) he cant keep a straight face.
Bam~Bam has the most amazing giggle that you can hear from one end of the pool to the other and my son really liked him and Alex best of all. Ofetn times Bam~Bam would be on the towels and it didnt matter who went up, toddler, young person, adult or elderly, he always had some words for them, whatever their age he could relate to them so a total people person. We also often played cards at night time too.
Gulce is the girl who runs the mini club and she is an absolute sweetheart. worth her weight in gold if you need your child entertaining. The club is open from around 9:30 til mid day and then again 2 pm until 5 pm. Age group is 3yrs to 12 yrs and they always seemd to have great fun.
The location of the hotel is great, right on the beach front. It is the last one in the resort so although its at the end, it means you are not in the middle of a lot of noise at high season and its only a ten min walk to the other end anyway...it was perfect for me.
I will definitely visit again, I only came back yesterday and i'm alrady looking for something for a week in May... no luck so far but will keep trying...

The food was by far the worst I have ever sampled,in fact the first week saw us travelling outwith the resort to eat. Breakfast - as bread, butter, and cereal ran out, it was never replaced unless you asked. Meats were processed and curling up at the edges, boiled eggs, either 3min or 5min there was no difference which you chose, barely warm, undercooked or hard boiled. If you were brave enough to join the queue for an ommelette you were in for a long wait. One day the 12th person to join the queue waited 22minutes to be served. Same applied on the day the eggs were being fried. 1 cook,1 frying pan, and 1 egg at a time. Lunch/dinner - Complaints from day 1, the hot food was never piping hot,on occasions it was cold, meats were undercooked. Minced meat mixed with boiled eggs and swimming in grease. Chicken undercooked with boiled lettuce. Flat square meatballs burned on one side and raw on the other. The barbeque was fired up for the last 2 days of the holiday, but again the food was undercooked, although incinerated on the outside. The advertised A la Carte restaurant also opened at this time, I paid 10euro for the same undercooked and cold food as the main restaurant, the only difference was you had to wait while someone went to the other end of the hotel to collect it for you. Thomas Cook's rep did tell one guest and his daughter that there was a problem with the catering staff but that should improve in week 2 when a new team arrive, slight improvement but still poor and still had to eat out at times.
The hotel location is fine, at the bottom of a hillside and within minutes of the beach.
Hotel staff are all very pleasant, chefs are not chefs, they are people dressed as chefs heating up food that is delivered in dailly, pre prepared.
Entertainment left a lot to be desired,a good bunch of animation staff tried their best but failed. Would definitely NOT return to this hotel. In 25 years of travelling it is by far the worst experience ever.

We split into two rooms of three for cost. We stayed on an all inclusive basis in rooms 711 and 712....the view from the balcony wasn't too good, but the balconies are only small anyway.
All in all we were very satisfied with the rooms. A/C is one speed...I think it is operated from the reception as it seemed to go off at ~0300hrs every night for about an hour.
The grounds are very pretty and the rooms are dotted around the complex.
The main pool was excellent if only a bit small for the amount of kids..remembering it was peak weeks..the adult pool looks very nice although we didn't take advantage as we were with the grandchildren and family..there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and you could easily get a bed at 0900-0930hrs. We booked ours at 0800hrs as we were a party of six.
I am very fussy with food [mr plain]and was able to find something for 12 out of the 14 nights at dinner, which is par for the course..the rest of the family were very pleased with choice and quality.
The hotel is in an excellent location and only a small walk from the prom[bars] and the main street. The hotel generally was very clean. One niggle I had was the fact that the tableclothes weren't changed when you sat down after someone else had left..they only brushed them clean[ish]!
I'm a Thomson GOLD/PLATINUM fan.The entertainmemt team worked very hard and it's all geared towards the children[a bit like the old gang show]. Soft drinks were always available as was coffee and tea..Ice creams for 90 minutes from 1.30. We spent a lot of evenings in the Olive Garden. My son and myself drank the Tuborg lager[O.K] My wife and daughter-in-law drank vodka and coke which they seemed to like ,well I think they did as they drank enough of them !!!
As a final round up ,we really enjoyed the holiday...my son and family say they will return, the children had a ball[8yrs/13yrs]...my wife and myself..well we've just booked a weeks cruise for September to wind down.Oh! and don't forget to do the paragliding..it's only 6000+ feet up the mountain..I did it and I'm 65......Enjoy!!

I was a little worried before we arrived due to some bad reviews in late May but as soon as we checked in we realised that I had nothing to worry about.
Rooms
Big, Clean and the fridge was a bonus.
Pool (Family)
I feel was a good size and there was always plenty of beds to choose from. We never used the adult only pool or the kids club pool although these also looked great.
Food
Great choice and everything piping hot and fresh. Throughout the day they also had fresh pizza being cooked in the oven at the family pool.
Bars
The 2 we used where the poolside bar, olive garden bar and both where very well staffed and you never had to wait for a drink. Mustafa was the man and I second Helen's request to make him bar manager. He was always in a good mood and great with the kids (my little girl loved him).
Entertainment
They try really hard and they are always happy to have a chat with you. Air was full of himself and I can understand why people could find him annoying however he is really just trying to have some fun.
Noa Beach (Hotel run beach at Blue Lagoon)
Dirty and no beach - the only good thing was the kids got to use the boats free - we went for 1 hour then left.
Overall
Really beautiful hotel set in wonderful gardens.
Please try this hotel as it will provide you with a great holiday. While there you need to do the Paragliding - it took me nearly 2 weeks to get the courage up but when I did - wow.

Reception - Very professional and friendly staff. Spoke excellent English. Only complaint here was the price of the safety box (70 YTL) and the late checkout (68 YTL)
Rooms - We were in a room under the kids club and it didn't get much natural daylight due to the location but the room was spotless, big and the beds were comfortable. We hardly spent any time in the room so this wasn't a big issue but if we go back to this hotel then I would ask to stay in the rooms overlooking the Olive Garden.
The maid, although didn't speak good English (although her English is better than my Turkish!), did a very good job.
Hotel Grounds - The grounds were superb. The landscaping was lovely and there were flowers growing everywhere which gave the hotel a lot of colour. There were plenty of marble benches and shaded swinging benches to sit and relax. The gardeners work very hard to keep the grounds looking so good.
Look for the huts with bean bags just past the Olive Garden. They were great to relax in the shade. There are also two large shaded areas at the Olive Garden and where the huts were.
Pools - I can't comment on the relax pool as I didn't go there as we had a small child but it seems like a very good idea and was busy.
The main pool was excellent and very clean. I'm not sure why people are saying they had a problem getting a sunbed. I was there when the hotel was full and as long as you got down to the pool by around 9am then you would get at least 4 beds in a row with a parasol - I did not see anyone having a problem getting a bed. If you just wanted a bed then you could get one at any time.
Only a minor criticism here is that there wasn't much space around the kids pool to put a bed and there weren't as many bins (although staff would regularly pick up any litter of empty drink cups.
Meals
If you come here looking for purely British food then you will be disappointed. The food had to cater for all Nationalities and was a good mix. To be honest, why go to Turkey if all you want to eat is what you get back home!
Also there were no issues with getting a seat. We generally went at the busy times and the 3 of us usually got a table to ourselves but occasionally shared, which was no problem. If you went as a group of more than 6 then you may struggle at busy times but the waiters did a very good job of getting a table for you.
There was also plenty of plates and cutlery and if by chance there was none on your table then the waiters would put new cutlery on your table straight away.
The waiters were very friendly and helpful. They would clear your plates right away, help you to your seat with your food if you were older or had a young child and would get drinks for you. By the end of the holiday, they even knew what drinks to get us without asking! They had to deal with some very abusive guests and to their credit, never reacted!
Breakfast - There was a very good mix. The bread and rolls were fresh and excellent. Plenty of cereals, yoghurts, cheeses and cold meats. The hot section consisted of eggs (boiled, scrambled, fried, French toast and omelettes). There were pastries and sausages (No bacon but Management are looking into this). There was also plenty of fresh fruit.
It did get a bit samey towards the end of the holiday but I don't see what else they could provide for breakfast.
Lunch - Again a very good selection. This time there were soups, bread & rolls, pastas, meat, pizzas, breaded chicken, rice, potatoes, veg, fresh fruit. Basically spoiled for choice.
Dinner - 2 soups, plenty of salad, bread, lots of choice on the self service. This was generally meats in different stews or sauces but all hot and tasty. There was a section where different foods were cooked in front of you. There were stir fries, pastas, grilled meats (fish, chicken, kebabs and steak generally). You sometimes had to queue for 5 mins to get this food so a good tip is to get your rice or potatoes last so they stay hot. There was also a carvery section most nights with either chicken, lamb or beef with gravy or different sauces.
Plenty of fresh fruit again and the sweets were generally cakes which we didn't bother with but there was ice cream some nights.
We never went hungry any night and there were always at least 4 options that we could choose from (sometimes more!).
You could also get Turkish Pizzas at various times of the day. They were lovely and very popular. If you looked, there were also Turkish pancakes being made in one of the shaded huts just past the Olive Garden. You could have meat of lemon & sugar pancakes. These were also superb.
I wasn't impressed with the snack bar as this is not the type of food I generally eat. The food quality here is just like any snack bar back home but this was very popular and the kids seem to love it!
Bars & Drinks - The bar staff were on the whole excellent and friendly. There were some new guys learning the ropes so they were a bit slower. These guys work around 14 hours a day in the heat and have to deal with very demanding customers. I never once had to wait any longer than a couple of minutes for a drink but if I saw the bar we really busy then I would go to the lobby bar or olive garden bar where there was never a queue.
The beer is decent and the vodka is good (and not watered down - trust me!). The white wine was ok with a meal but we didn't drink this any other time. Other guests loved the Gin and Raki, not to mention the cocktails as well. I didn

Sadly, we have to agree with previous reports from frequent visitors to this hotel that it is nowhere near as good as it was on previous years, though if you have never been here before and had nothing to compare it with, you will probably find it very good.
We would not recommend booking with K and S Holidays as to our horror, upon arrival in the early hours we were told by the hotel management that although we had paid for our holiday months previously, K and S Holidays had not forwarded the money to the hotel and they would not allocate us a room until it had been paid. They even suggested we pay again to get a room. We protested and were finally allocated a room after making a scene in reception, but K and S Holidays only forwarded our payment on the day of our departure, so beware!
The hotel on a whole is spotlessly clean and maid service very good.
As stated previously by us and other guests, the food is very good if you are prepared to sample Turkish dishes. There is a great variety and what looks like a stewed slop is actually very tasty so try it! There is always the hot dog and burger bar and the Turkish pancakes outside if you do not like it. There are always plenty of salads and fruit and freshly baked bread, rolls and cakes and the soups are lovely. Breakfast was a little disappointing and repetitive, but you can always make do until lunchtime. The all inclusive drinks were OK but last year they had good copies of drinks like Baileys, Archers, Bacardi etc. all inclusive, but this year it was restricted to wine, beer, gin and Vodka, plus cocktails which was OK but a bit limited. Also we thought that the beer tasted watered down.
The hotel location is right on the beach and not too far from the town centre, plus the local buses can take you to the market on Tuesday and other local towns all for about 30p! Outside the Hotel there are a few little shops. One of the owners sits on the wall outside and is called Bridget. She is English and is very very helpful if you need to know anything about the resort. She also sells lovely towels etc. at very competitive prices. Her stall is called BHS (Bridget's Home Stores!) So give her a look.
The staff were very good although the waiters did not seem to be as friendly this year as they had previously. The maid was always friendly and chatty. The reception staff we felt could have done more to help our situation explained earlier. They knew we had paid for our holiday and they had rooms but only granted us a room when we caused them embarrassment in front of other guests in reception - otherwise we would have stayed in reception for the whole week!
Entertainment - this is the big no no. Last year it was corny, yes, but you could still join in and have a really good laugh. This year all our entertainment staff had left and there were new faces there who were terrible. The entertainment is practically non-existent. One night's entertainment consisted of one game of bingo with a couple of idiots dressed in drag then when a certain number was called, the first person on the stage had to drink a shot "down in one" - rivetting stuff! The best night's entertainment was when they showed the Euro Football Cup Final on the big screen. The entertainment was the lowest point of the holiday, but most nights we went out into town where there is plenty going on.
In saying all this, because of the location and the "all inclusive" good value, I would say yes we would still come here again, though we would not book through K and S Holidays and we would not rely on the hotel entertainment.

The staff at the hotel are so friendly and Ozzy at the kids club was a big favourite. The hotel is all-inclusive, and the food was very good

The general cleanliness was not as good and the food standard was also nothing like it had been in previous years. The entertainment was also different.
However things did improve over the holiday. We talked with the new general manager and voiced our feelings about the changes.
However although it had changed for us, anyone visiting who hasn't been before we don't think would be disappointed and we will return.
The changes were because the hotel has been rented so all new management who I believe are trying to get their act together.
