Hisaranou/Ovacik doesn't have a beach, but Olu Deniz is just a short dolmus ride away with one of the best beaches in Turkey. Hisaranou has plenty of night time entertainemnt and bars for anyone.

the resort is nice a bit out of the way,no nightlife.we have been to the same hotel for 3 years and feel that we have seen as much as we want to,its time to explore other parts.

The downside of the hotel is its position, its up a steep hill and would not be suitable for anyone who has difficulty walking, it takes about 10 mins to get to the bottom of the hill and a further 10 mins down to the resorts centre of Hisaranu, during the day you can see where you are walking but at night its more difficult as some street lights don’t work and the pavement and road surfaces are rough and uneven.
A taxi back costs 8lira (£3.20) and 10lira (£4.00) after midnight (well worth it), and it only costs 12lira (£4.80) from Olu Denis.
The resorts of Fethiye and Oludeniz are a short dolmus ride away and well worth a visit, and Hisaronu has lots of bars, shops and restaurants and to visit any one of these requires a walk down the hill and unfortunately a walk back up the hill unless you get a taxi, the hotel provides a mini bus on a morning at ten to take you to their private beach which is quite nice and brings you back in the afternoon at 3,30.The Blue Lagoon was a bit of a disappointment as it is like a white gravel and the sun beds are packed together.
Don’t let the hill put you of if your thinking of stopping here, we walked up and down it several times but after a night out a taxi is definitely the better option.

Ovacik is not really a resort as such there is nothing there .In order to get to a beach etc you need to catch the bus and taxis.

the resort itself was a 45 minute walk away from our hotel but local transport was every 5 minutes regular and cheap about £1 for 2 into town and the same back

The area is very expensive compaired to other resorts like calis. Has a good selection of shops and resturants however they have tourisum down to a fine art.
There are better places in the world to visit.

olvacik is very clean and has a few eating places and bars that are nice(the prickly pear is great for breakfast).Hisaranou is only a short walk down hill but walking back up is hard especially in the heat of the day.has loads of eating(the festival is the best but not the cheapest) and shopping.oludenize beach is one of the best beaches i have been to although is a sun trap.fethiye and its market are great for shopping etc.trip to mud baths is a must amd we booked with hamish mc turk who was great.i think turkey is till one of the best holiday destination but is becoming touristy and is loosing its charm.
