We arrived back from the Pegasos on the 29th August. Our party consisted of 2 adults, 2 children and a 13 month old baby. Was not worried about visiting this place more concerned whether it would be suitable for the little one, as it happened it was.

There was a tweety cr

I travelled out on the 18th August for 2 weeks with my partner 3 children and my mum and dad.

Transfer to hotel good, left men with luggage whilst I checked in both parties. Arrived at 6 am ish.

Mum and dads room was beautiful, they had a Jacuzzi suite which overlooked a small quiet pool. Unfortunately I was not impressed with ours. On walking into the room we were met by the stench of sewerage. Thought it would disperse so went to bed. It never did. I reported the room 3 times - we were not moved and no one came to look at it. It was too small for 5 people. Beyond the sliding doors we had the sofa bed and a single chair bed open. We had to clamber over them to get to the patio doors and you could not open the fridge door.

The maids did come in every day but we never had our room hoovered which I simply couldn't bother to complain about.
Our room also had finger prints over everything and had simply not been cleaned properly.

The main reception area was clean, but the tables where you sat to have drinks could have been cleaned better. The grounds I have to say were excellent, pools were lovely and clean but the pool bar was bit smelly.

Food! sometimes good, sometimes bad. Good variety but chips with everything. Salad bar good and sweets lovely, wished they done ice cream though. The air conditioning too good, food went cold in 5 mins flat!

Location of hotel is remote, but most people were happy to be around the pools with the kids. We went on a few trips, our favourite being Dalyan to the mud baths and Turtle Beach - excellent for children.

All inclusive drinks diabolical, wine that would strip paint, very weak vodka, gin, brandy or raki (Pernod). Drinks that you had to pay for extortionate! Couvosier brandy 11 euro's for a shot! Smirnoff vodka also. The beer (efes) was good though.

Please don't give the children TANG! It's E number central. Lots of kids running around like lunatics. We learnt our lesson in the first 2 days - they were banned from drinking it after that.

Staff mostly friendly, bar staff kept bickering between themselves - mind you I saw the same staff for 14 days - I don't think they get a day off! They were rude to customers a couple of times which was uncalled for.

Entertainment awful - I could do better myself!

Kids clubs excellent.

Mosquito's were a huge problem for us. We all got bit probably 20 - 30 times each. We covered ourselves in everything imaginable, jungle formula, sin kov, citronella etc. We went to the Italian restaurant, my partner got bit 15 times in 20 mins, needless to say we didn't stay long. Doctor doing a roaring trade. Every other person we came across had been bitten.

Apart from my moans we did have a good holiday, but I wouldn't go back again.

Only other gripe I've got is the time from checking out of your room to actually being taken to the airport. We checked out at 6pm. Bus picked us up at 2.35am. It's too long when you've got kids. We were also delayed 2 hours so as I am writing this now - I have been up for 32 hours with 1 hours kip on the plane.

Ok so I will start from the beginning. Arrived in airport around 3am I think (I was half asleep) went through and paid for the visas then passport control this was fairly quick. Went and got our baggage and got onto the coach, this must have not taken more than an hour and a half so not much longer than England. Only a 20 min ride to the hotel and check in was nice and quick. We took our own bags to our room purely as we did not want to wait the 30 mins as wanted to get into bed.

Walked in to our Jacuzzi suite and was really pleased! A nice enough bathroom with lovely Jacuzzi (we used on many occasions!). Walked along the corridor and on the right went into the bed room through the sliding doors to see a massive bed with bath robes and slippers arranged on top. There was a massive mirror that was in two parts one side you could slide across and behind was shutter which you could open into the living room. The living room had a really big couch that could be made into a bed (we never change it in to a bed though). There was plenty of cupboard space and enough hangers. All in all I think there was a double wardrobe and two cupboards to store cloths or other things like first aid kit, mosquito spray etc. The room was immaculate. We even received a bottle of red wine and a basket of fruit.

Ok so the food. We ate in the Italian and Indian restaurants twice. My self and my partner enjoyed both immensely. My partner is a head chef and I was very worried he would not enjoy the food. The buffet restaurant was not super but was adequate. We did on a few occasions comment on how the food would have been nicer if a bit hotter but as kids were always leaving the lids off the bain-maries the food was getting cool quicker than normal. Saying this, most nights it was fine. I enjoyed the breakfast as I love pancakes and croissants. There was still a verity of other things such as cereals toast and sausages etc. Oh and a huge verity of teas! Lunch was fine too I really enjoyed the sausages they had so had them nearly every day! There was enough of a verity for every one in my opinion. Oh and the salad selection was brill! A little tip if you want mayo just ask a waiter and they will bring you some out in a soup dish.
We also ate in the Mediterranean restaurant twice. This was payable locally and cost around 35 euros per person. I really really enjoyed both meals and had the biggest ever prawns I have seen, they were absolutely massive! It is well work the money. The only gripe I have is you have to pay for drinks and they fill your glass with water without asking then charge you for it. Just do as we did the second time and slowly sip your water and wait till the end of the meal to finish your glass he he (we were running out of money at this point it was the 2nd from last night). The hot chocolate pudding was to die for I highly recommend it.
Drink. As others have said not a large selection. I made do with drinking vodka and Fanta or beer as did my partner and on more than one occasion we got very drunk with out really meaning too!!!!

Location, well it was a bit out of the way and the town was not what I was expecting. From what others said I was expecting this tiny place with one shop one bar and one restaurant so I was highly surprised to see an array of shops a few bars and restaurants. It only cost 10 lira into the town and back and took only 5 mins. You must go in on a Sunday for the market! There was sooooo many stalls we went half way down and gave up as it was so long. There was every kind of

We stayed at the Pegasos Palace for two weeks from the 11th August.
This has got to be the worst holiday we have ever had and is definately not 4 Star.

We read all the reviews before we went and thought we was well prepared.
We packed pools shoes and ear plugs for the children. We spent over

When I got to the Pegasos Palace there were drinks as you went in. That was nice and refreshing. Then you have to fill a form out and give it to a lady. Once you have done that, you get a envelope telling you what room number you are in and your card key is inside with some information.

She then puts your all exclusive bands on and give you stickers. The stickers are to put on your luggage. You put your last name on and your room number.

We stayed in a family room.

Food

I am normally very picky with food but this food was'nt bad. The Italian is very nice except there are loads of mozzies but one of the waiters puts and poisoness candle in the middle. They have pancakes in the morning and in the afternoon there is a brown tent on the grass where they make them. Everyone found something they liked. Some nights I just had chips though.

Mozzies

Mozzies get in your room and everything. even during the day you get bit. but downstairs in the shop there is this stuff called Sinkov. Really good stuff.

Cleanliness

The cleaners never stop cleaning. When they clean your room they even fold up your pj's.

Location

Location is'nt that bad. Even though your on a swamp. You can get the odd smell every now and again but apart from that you forget your on one. Sarigeme is a nice town.

We went to the market on Sunday and bought a few t shirts and braclets, but I saw this boy with a ring on his finger that the person who owns it has forced it on and could'nt get it off! We went to mud bath trip and this is the best trip I have ever been on. First you actually go in the mud then wash it off then go into a hot pool. You also go swimming in the lake if you want to and shopping and go on the beach for 2 and a half hours. Lunch was free but you have to buy the drinks.

Staff

Staff were very friendly. The life guard on the Pegasos slides flirted with a few young girls that did'nt seem right.

Entertainment

Entertainment was nothing special. We watched a show called Saturday Night Fever which was quite poor. We did'nt go to the beach party because we were too tired but we walked past it and it looked amazing with lights and foam, but I do warn you if you go wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet. We saw people coming back from it and they were soaked.

Kids Club

I only went kids club once. We did archery and if I may say so I was good at it. I was the only girl there but I went with my brother so I was'nt on my own. My brother went twice and he also did this thing in the water, where you hold on tight to this machine thing, you sit on and you press a button and it rides you around in the water.

Overall I had a great holiday and would definitely come back. Trust me you'll have a brilliant time and that's coming from a 12 year old.

We were worried by previous reports but were very impressed.

The jacuzzi suite was good as it had a separate bedroom with a kingsize bed. The view over the pool and wedding chapel towards the sea was lovely. The balcony was spacious although we only used it for storing lilos. The maid was really nice and made swans and love hearts out of the towels and really kept the place in really good order.

We thought the food choice and taste was excellent. The children (1 and 8) ate really well. We had two birthdays while there and the cakes were delicious. The themed restaurants were ok but we preferred the choice in the restaurant upstairs. The best night was the BBQ night.

The entertainment was ok but the best night was the hypnotist. It was really funny.

The children really enjoyed the pools and slides and basically if they are happy so are we. The best trip was the mud baths.

We would definitely return one day.

We were very worried by previous reports, but had a great time. Hotel village was very clean and the Turkish staff worked very hard keeping it so. We found all the staff very friendly, try to learn a couple of Turkish words it is really appreciated and they will remember you.

There was always plenty of choice regard food and plenty of it......don't expect exactly the same as English food in a foreign country. The staff were fantastic but it is behaviour and attitude (your behaviour will affect their attitude) I witnessed guests "demanding" beer / coke / lemonade etc. and to be frank was embarrassed by their distinct lack of manners ! My 5 year old twins would always say please & thank you.
The pools are fantastic with plenty of slides etc. Although I did catch an ear infection ! Did not get too troubled by mozzies but we were careful to use plenty of repellent.

Childrens clubs were excellent and well organised, bit of a pain queuing up to sign them in each evening at 4:30 p.m. but worth it.

Try to visit Sarigerme (5 liras in Taxi) had two good meals out (Hotel Carmen). We thoroughly recommend you visit the hairdresser in Sarigerme for little girls braids / plaits etc. excellent value, (Hotel hairdresser very expensive)
I had a Turkish shave there for only 4 lira....best shave ever had. The hairdresser is opposite side of road to where taxi drops you off behind a clothes shop.
Overall the children were happy which means we were!

Ignore the negative comments on the coach before people have even reached the hotel! Jumping on the band wagon comes to mind!!!

We travelled with first choice and had a brilliant holiday.

The hotel is very clean and well looked after!
The food was fine! Ok not upto 4* but never the less if you couldnt find something to eat? did you actually try! Salad bar was excellent and fresh fruit was available most of the day !

Sometimes the food could of been hotter but hey ask yourself who left the lids open before you got there???

All inclusive was worth every penny(only little whim no white rum).

The location of the hotel is good, on the beach with limited water sports but im sure this can only improve!
99% of the staff were very friendly and willing to please! The odd 1% had probably been insulted by another holiday maker (sadly to say British!!!)

The entertainment was brilliant! Something always going on day and night for all ages!!! Well done to both first choice entertainers and the turkish team both work very hard and do, we thought a really good job!

The kids clubs were brilliant our children aged 5,7,10,13 (and 15 went at least once) the range of activities was excellent and they all enjoyed it!

We will definatley be returning at some point!

We arrived at the hotel in the early hours of Friday, 26th August for a two-week stay, a bit sceptical about all the horror stories we had read, leading up to our holiday. Have to say that we were pleasantly surprised, and first impressions of the reception area were "wow" - even at 4.30am. The checking-in was fairy prompt, and we were given our card key to make our way to our apartment, which was easy to find, even in the dark! The "Jacuzzi" apartment, itself, was an impressively big and the air conditioning was very welcome after a long hot lazy day by the pool.

The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional - the hotel staff were always busy, tidying and cleaning around the whole complex, and the bar staff were prompt in collecting empty glasses from around the pool area. Our maid did an excellent job tidying our apartment, always making the beds with clean sheets and pillowcases. There were fresh towels every day - even an occasion, when she left a towel in the shape of a 'heart', in the centre of our king-sized bed.

The catering staff and waiters/waitresses were kind and worked exceptionally hard to please - it didn't take much to be polite for their efforts, and most often replied in English, when we offered our thanks. You need to check your change, if you are buying anything - newspapers, sweets and bottled drinks etc (there were occasions when we were short changed!). Also, it pays to check the balance left on your 'Tom Watch' when buying Magnums, Cornettos, Popcorn and Candyfloss.

The food was good and from experience, we often waited for fresh cooked food to be put out, so it was hot - there were some occasions, however, when we had selected some that were lukewarm, but this was only because other holidaymakers were constantly leaving the hot plate lids open. Overall, the choice was vast, and we always found something we liked. The queues at the bars were not too bad - evenings saw more people getting drink, but it didn't take too long to get served.

The only downside was the location. We didn't venture outside the complex on foot, although we did go on the all-inclusive gullet cruise - a 45 minute drive by coach to one of the ports. The day started at 9am, and it was a long day, but we had a fabulous time, and the buffet was very tasty!

The First Choice Reps were OK, although they showed little interest in any problems that cropped up - we witnessed a few outbursts from dissatisfied holidaymakers.
As for whether we would go to the same hotel again - we would, but maybe in a few years, when the hotel really becomes established.

The swimming pools are very clean, and you have the option to choose whether you would like to sit around a "quiet" pool, or be amongst the hustle and bustle of the ones with water slides, although the sun beds were virtually
'shoulder to shoulder' there were plenty to choose from - there are not enough cushions to the amount of beds, but we were fortunate enough to acquire some after two days - we tended to take them back with us to the apartment at the end of the swimming day. Blue towels were offered each day, to use by the pool, and these were provided fresh and clean.

The entertainment during the day was above average, and in the evening, the First Choice entertainment team tried very hard to offer their experience in the shows that were put on - we had the pleasure of seeing 'Grease' and the 'Wizard of Oz' (which my 10-year old daughter performed as a munchkin - courtesy of "Stage Coach"). The mini-disco was always fun to watch, and the entertainers often persuaded the audience to participate in the various dances, and the kids always loved joining in the merriment. Our thanks go to the FC entertainers -especially Deano and Graham for their "fantastic" performances and sense of humour.

We didn't venture onto the beach during the day, although we experienced the Thursday's 'Beach Party' on the two occasions we were there - have to say that we weren't overlly impressed!

Sarigerme is a remote place, and there is not a lot to do outside the hotel, so we are reluctant to visit the resort itself. The mosquitos were a problem for some people, but we were warned in advance, and so we went forearmed with plenty of Jungle Formula to ward off the little blighters, with only a few bites to show for the unprotected areas of skin. The wasps are twice the size of our own, and I had the unfortunate experience of being stung on the leg, but it didn't need any treatment, other than antihistamine and cream, which I had the sense to bring with us.

We are pleased with the holiday overall, and would recommend the hotel to others, who have families.

We Arrived at the hotel on 22nd August, quite surprised after all the reports.
Reception was very fast and area very clean, cleaners were always cleaning.

The food was very repetitive and very bland.

The mosquittos were a real nightmare, you couldn't watch the entertainment as you got eaten alive and they didn't seem to worry about what lotion you put on.

Lots of people had ear infections from the pool including my two children, it cost me
