I have only been on an all inclusive holiday once before as we go self catering every year, well never again will I go all inclusive again as the hotel Tropical has put me off for life.

On arrival as we were walking to our jacuzzi room all we saw were baths outside rooms with rooms being flooded. Our room fortunately was o.k and clean. We got showered and ready to go to dinner well what dinner? I thought the food was diabolical, I lived off of soup and bread and my youngest daughter had cheesy chips as we just couldn't face the food. One night I had to tell the chef to take the chicken kebabs back as he was serving them up raw.

We knew the location was going to be far out, but we thought that the hotel being a 4* we wouldn't need to leave the well how wrong were we. After four days of trying our best to put up with things we asked for a transfer which we were not given.

The entertainment was terrible in my opinion the Grease night was o.k but the only reason this was any good was because the reps kept making mistakes. The only entertainment going on was people sat around playing cards.

The only good thing about this hotel was the swimming pools which my two children really enjoyed.

Would I go back to this hotel? I would not most definitely not. The hotel has opened far to early. I am sure that in a few years time it will be a great place to go, but not at the moment.

The hotel was very clean although the constant cleaning around the sun beds vanished after the first week .
(cameras had gone)
The pools appeared very clean the bottom of the pool could be seen crystal clear from above , staff were constantly checking the water quality.
Our room was kept very clean by a very pleasant and friendly maid.

The food was very variable in quality.Breakfast had a good choice and not bad quality. However the evening meal was very variable in it's quality . Some items good ie the meat balls , others very poor ,ie the tough as old boot roast beef .Salads were usually good. However I am only giving the food 1 star as they frequently failed to supply food which was up to the standard of the leaflet FC give you on arrival telling you how "your wellbeing is their priority "and that food should be presented at the correct temperature. Hot food was often cold or luke warm and food from the chiller wasn't always cold .Would advise any visitors confirm food is definetly hot or cold as appropiate .3 out of 4 of party had stomach upsets, one diagnosed by the on site doctor as bacterial in origin.(She only ate and drank at the hotel for 4 days previous to the illness , it spoilt the remaining 10 days of holiday)) .
The only person to avoid stomach upset lived mostly on chips and pasta.(No it wasn't drink or heat)

The location of the hotel was quite remote but sarigerme had character and we like quiet resorts so as per bochure, no complaint.

We found hotel staff to be fine , although I have to say I felt a little uncomfortable at the long hours they put in . Their english wasn't always wonderful but far better than my turkish.

The entertainment like the food varied in quality, the turkish folk dancing was great, other shows were embarisingly bad.
We listened to the duo at pool bar a couple of times and they could sing and play guitar wonderfully.
Can't comment on late night shows as someone in our party was usually too ill to stay up late to go.

We would not visit the hotel again as we booked the hotel beacause of the "spectacular beach", we normally spend a lot of time on beach activities and another major reason for booking was the non motorised water sports. The idea was to spend time on beach activities and go All inclusive as we we didn't want to have problems with food.
We were very dissapointed ,beach awful, not safe to use if you abide by FC's 'your well being is our priority ' brochure .No non motorised water sports and 3 out of 4 of party couldn't eat properly for a large chunk of holiday.
People say to make the best of your holiday , we would have tried to do this by doing the PADI diving course .Unfortunatly if you are not well it isn't possible.
The other concerns were the violent behaviour of a small minority of guests, this ranged from nastiness when drunk to drunken brawls. My son was distressed to witness someone attempting to strangle someone and threatning to kill them by throwing them down a stair well.
I can also confirm as per other postings that strobe light are used in the ampithetre with no warnings, I had to shield my daughters eyes as a precaution , my wife felt ill after witnessing them.

Hotel has some good points but the holiday was ruined for us, according to FC brochure it should have been all we wanted from a holiday. It was any thing but.

ENJOYED & DIDN'T COST EXTRA...

Sunshine! 35 degrees plus every day but plenty of shade available and often a bit of a breeze.

Turkey and the Turkish people. Get out and about or you'll go stir crazy in the hotel. Market shopping is good. Take plenty of sterling for the unmissable 'designer' offers. Fake goods a plenty. Buy early before you tire of the bartering.

Pools and slides are great. We didn't get the dreaded ear infections.

The coffee from the machines was good and local fruit lovely and available all day. Don't miss the giant peaches. Delicious.

Hotel is very clean which is a real achievement given its size and the fact that a handful of holiday makers seemed to think it ok to let their kids run riot and wreck the place.

PAID EXTRA AND ENJOYED....

Trip to mud baths at Dalyan..though we were amazed that our youngest hated it. At home he's a real mud magnet!

Market at Fetiyer was good but we didn't like the trip itinerary which took you to gold and leather outlets which bored us and the kids silly and felt like a waste of the day. We only got 2 and a half hours at the market and town..over lunch time too. Not good.

Island hopping trip-very relaxing and plenty of room on the boat. We went on the one where drinks and lunch is provided. There is another with kids club reps on board.

Soccer school...our 11 year old loved it and the coaches were great.

Parasailing from beach -we all had a go going up in two's and threes..big fun.

Half day speed boat trip aound the local islands- available from the beach (take your snorkell).

Spa on site is beautiful. Paid

We stayed at the Pegasos Tropical for 2 weeks from 08/08 -22/8 and on the whole, had a very enjoyable holiday.

We arrived at approximately 0530 to a very impressive
entrance and reception area. Following a 5 minute check in we were given our room number and brief directions, leaving our suitcases to the bell boys, we had a little difficulty locating the room but did eventually find it hurrah, our suitcases arrived approx 20 mins afterward.

We stayed in a Jacuzzi suite which was immaculate and an adequate size, no problems with the Jacuzzi either!!

The pools were lovely too and immaculately clean or at least they appeared to be, with a type to suit everyone, with a large pool of which the entertainment largely centered around to slide pools, paddling pools for tots to a selection of secluded quieter pools. We tended to centre around one of the quieter pools and then venture over to one of the slide pools for a couple of hours. I have to admit though that the sun beds were a bone of contention with people getting up early to reserve them often only staying an hour or so but leaving towels on to reserve them for the rest of the day but, hey if you can't beat 'em join 'em. At least none of us got ear infections.

Admittedly the food was no great shakes but it was ok.
A plethora of eggs with boiled, fried, scrambled (bleegh) freshly cooked as you wait omlettes and pancakes, a variety of fresh bread, cereals, fruit and yoghurt for brekkie. The restaurant opened between 11.30 and 2pm for lunch and between 6 and 9pm for dinner, there was generally quite a bit of choice from a vast salad selection, grilled meats, fried fish, kebabs, pizza and some types of stew. There was a children

We arrived back on Friday Aug 26 after a 2 week stay. We were a little worried about the hotel after all the reports we had read, but we were pleasantly surprised by what we found.

The whole complex itself is huge and with about 2000 people staying there it can be a little overwhelming. The grounds are immense and a small army of staff tend to them all day.

The pools are amazing; our two little girls spent almost the whole two weeks in them. None of the family had any problems with ear infections, but we did see a lot of people with cotton wool in their ears. This may have been as a precaution or they could have had caught something.

I am responsible for a swimming pool where I work, so I was glad to see that they check the water quality three times a day as we do over here. We did see a couple of small children wearing no swimming gear or swim nappies, and there was one incident of an 'accident' in the pool, which was promptly dealt with.

We booked our girls in with the Swim Kids and found that they loved it. The instructor, Cat, is brilliant. Our girls started wearing arm bands but finished being able to swim at least a couple of lengths as well as on their backs. I can thoroughly recommend this.

We found that meal times were the worst. It was like a noisy school canteen. The food was varied but there was always enough to eat. Breakfasts were good, plenty of cereals & fruit.

My wife ate the cooked offerings but the kids & I stuck to the pancakes & cereals. At lunch & dinner the children

We arrived back on 28 Aug. The staff are constantly cleaning, therefore the hotel is tidy. Rooms were cleaned everyday.

The food was good and no-one in our party had upset tummies. If people used the lids foods would be kept hot. We got hot food most days and were very happy with it.

Hotel location was remote with a 15mins walk into sarigerme. But as the hotel was very large you didn't need to leave for anything.

I personally didn't have any problems with the staff. Neither did the rest of our party a few smiles and manners go a long way.

The entertainment round the pool was constant during the day. The kids were also constantly entertained with the kids club which the all thoroughly enjoyed. We didn't use the entertainment in the evening due to mozzies,

I would use this hotel again but we never go back to the same place twice the world is a large place.

We all had a really good holiday and it was truly relaxing. We never had a problem getting a sunbed but we were up at 630 or 7 most mornings. We also got hold of towels. But I think you should take a few of your own as the towels are snapped up pretty quickly. They bring out 2 loads in the morning around 8.30 near the pool bar near the restaurant.

This hotel was fab. It was so clean and the maids were very friendly and patient. If we were getting changed into beach wear she wouldn't mind coming back in ten or so minutes.

The food could sometimes be cold but I think thats mostly because you had to queue a little and then find a seat so it could be on for plate for a while before you ate it.

The location was great because it was so peaceful. We didn't go into the town because it wasn't really necessary, there was enough to do on the complex.

The staff were very nice although some of the shop keepers didn't really like it if you didn't have change.

The entertainment was just brilliant. Myself and my partner watched a different show every night and we loved it. It was more aimed towards the kids but we don't have any and we still thought it was great and very funny.

Couldn't fault cleanliness throughout hotel, rooms immaculate maid service daily.

Pool areas spotless including outside toilets.

I would however say that the food was not 3/4 star. Pretty much the same every night. No icecream available for pudding if you didnt like desserts and no carvery as in other hotels I have visited, still if you like chips you will be ok!

First Choice reps tried very hard with entertainment especially grease and snow white performances. However hotel could do with a disco or quiz nights or some other entertainment especially at night because there is no entertainment in the area outside the resort, after two weeks you will be bored!

You do have to get up by at least 6.30 for a sun bed !!!!

The rooms were kept really clean and my pyjamas were even folded up! My parents wanted a kettle and Sky Sports though! The cutlery, cups, plates etc were clean.

The food was fine. At breakfast all I ate was pancakes- which were really nice! At the snack bar at lunch they had burgers, chips, cheese toasties and pasta which I loved. The evening meal was fine. I ate with my brother and 2 friends at the kids buffet upstairs and then went and watched a film in the cinema while our parents had their meal. You could always book the themed restaurants- no queues. We all had Italian twice and our parents had Indian and Turkish. They sold waffles which were really nice. The drinks were fine, they had the usual coke, sprite, water, orange etc. Some icecreams you had to pay for eg Magnum. You can get a Tommy band where you put credit on and you can get popcorn, candyfloss, fruit juices, branded icecreams etc.

The location was fine. I loved how it was surrounding mountains. There wasn't much about but there was all you need in the hotel. There is even a hairdressers and bowling alley in there. We went to the market for 2 hours which I thought was really good. You can get lots of cheap clothes which I like and Gameboy games which my brother likes!!!

The staff were great. The hotel bar staff were good. The First Choice reps weren't always about in the reception area. The In 2 Action reps were great. We went to a few of the kids clubs sessions. We did sea scooters which was fun, Wet and Wacky which was good and high ropes (which you have to pay for) but were excellent!

Entertainment was ok. There wasn't much for 10-16 year olds. The amphi-theatre was a good idea but very uncomftable. The beach party was fun. I liked the foam bit at the end!!!

We went on the Mudbath excursion was a really good trip out. First off, you go on a coach and then get on a boat to the mudbaths. You go in the mud which is a grey colour not brown. Then you let it dry and you shower off. Then you go in the sulphur water which smells of eggs. It was really hot and deep! Then you go back on the boat to a fantastic beach which has a strong current and is the same level all the way through! I would recommend this trip.

The pools are the best I've ever seen! There is the main pool. There is a slide pool which is fantastic with 4 slides. The Tropical has 2 slides in their main pool which are really fast. They test the water all the time allthough a few people had ear infections. The doctor in the hotel was really helpful.

Overall I had a brilliant holiday and I really want to go back there!!!!!!!!
