The food does need improving but you will not starve. My youngest son is very picky in what he eats and didnt ever go hungry.
The hotel is spotless, the staff work so hard keeping it clean. The gardeners work so hard to keep the grass and flowers tidy.
The maids are so lovely, they make your beds everyday and put clean towels in we left tip of 5lira every few days as our maid did so much more than she had too. ie. fresh flowers on the bed every other day.
The location of the hotel was ok I didnt mind as I didnt want to be in a built up area with thousands of tourists everywhere. It was remote but very nice.
Hotel staff were very helpful the manager was an **!!$@*** he didnt care.
The kids clubs were FANTASIC! Emma was a gem she was lovely, she took my daughter into the sea and took her fear of water away! (THANKYOU EMMA) The Into Action Wavelength Sylvester Kids clubs were so good my kids were in every session. These reps are worth there weight in gold they work so hard to keep the kids happy and to enjoy their holiday.
The adult entertainment was ok. The only thing we enjoyed was the duo ELEVENTH HOUR at the poolbar they were really good.
There were reps available for any questions that you might have. Vicky is so helpful and really nice,(anyone who chats to her please say hi).
There are so many positives about this hotel that I could mention I would be here all night.
All I can say is I HAVE BOOKED UP AGAIN FOR NEXT YEAR! Make your mind up from that!
To all going enjoy have a great time.

Pools are great, staff are friendly, food is ok and the rooms are cleaned everyday.
The Turkish entertainment team are much better than the English.
Going back again in 3 weeks to try the Palace hotel got a good deal, 2 adults in a jacuzzi suite, all inclusive for 1 week.

Food always found to be luke warm even in the themed restaurants where you would expect it to be hot as they are only catering for people booked in for that night.Couldnt fault the Turkish entertainment {very good}.
The first choice was very repetitive and often when singing out of tune. Even my 10 year old daughter commented about it. Only saw 5 live entertainment shows which were very good in the two weeks we were there.
Pools and slides brilliant. Some irresponsible parents didnt put swim nappies on young babies which were available, resulting with my son getting an ear infection.
Doesnt matter how much insect reppellent you put on they still bite {mosquitos}. Drinks were ok but did run out of vodka one night.Mud bath trip is a must and the all inclusive cruise.
Would maybe go back but in a couple of years. On the whole we still had a brilliant holiday and at the end of the day its what you make of it.

The air conditioning is a godsend. the power shower is fab and there is never ending amounts of red hot water.
The thing that worried me was the fact that children over twelve were given an adult band to wear, and it became very obvious how much under age drinking was going on the bar staff were quite happy to give youngsters who were obviously not 18 alcoholic drinks.
There are many many swimming pools around which are flood lit in the evening I can honestly see a fatal accident happening if the wrist bands are not changed for the 12 - 17 year olds.
There is a night club for over 18s, if your over 18 don't bother going it is full of under 18s. The food is very bland and is not varied often my children lived on rice and chips for two weeks, although the food at the pool bar is okay with toasted cheese sandwiches and salad although again mostly the same every day.
The all inclusive drinks are limited in variety, either lager, gin brandy or raki, I have been on other fully inclusive holidays where there have had much more choices of drinks, albeit the local brand. watch out in the hotels little supermarket shop, they tend to short change you especially if you send the children in on their own.
Dont go on the hotels excursions, get a taxi into Sarigerme (5 lira) (2pounds you will find the same excursions with huge savings.

The hotel is huge and very clean the rooms are lovely was abit dissappointed with the kids den we got . I did not think it was worth all the extra money .
The pools are great and if that is all you want to do on holiday is sit by a pool than this is the place for you. The staff have a split attitude to the guests. The cleaners are great the gardeners are great and the food yet bar staff are the most unfriendly people I have ever met. Dont bother smiling at them as they just look right through you.
The shops in the complex all they did was charge silly prices for goods and then on top of this would short change you. This is my first time to Turkey and I felt like I was being ripped off by every one.
Well lets get on to the food, well if you like meat balls and doners well thats ok cause every day you would have one all the other. The food was stone cold . I never knew you could put brussell sprouts in sweet and sour vegetable, and kids meals - when are chicken nuggets black in colour. The list is endless I put a formal complaint in about the food and was told that the First Choice company were aware of the catering problems and the same with the bar catering and that they will be more then likely to be changing the catering firm but not until the end of the season.
As for the entertainment it was all out doors and the main place was at the far end of the complex and it didnt start to 10.00 sorry 9.30 if you wanted to play cash bingo. No good if you have small children. The place is boring at night. A lot of people were playing cards in the main complex how good is that, go to Turkey and play cards?
First Choice promised a brilliant holiday and all we got was Butlins thirty years ago. No I will not go back to this hotel one child with gastric flu according to the hotel doctor. It has put me off all inclusives for life!

It was the wrong room but we refused to move. We were given a superior room with jacuzzi bath which my son Alex loved.
The food was ok, slighty repetitive but I beleive all AI are a bit like that. Mt children and I loved the waterslides and ten pin bowlling alley.
The entertainment was not too bad I've seen worse. There is a decent beach in Sagermie which the locals use. The hotel beach is very poor with strong currents.
I thought the trips were very good. The mud baths are good fun for all.
The varied restaurants are very nice we tried the Italian and the Indian no difficulty in booking either. I must say the ice cream at the complex was very good and the staff in general were friendly.
The place is very clean and the pools are cleaned every night.
I would defintley go again as the children are well catered for. The only drawback I would say was the positioning of the hotel = right near a swamp.

Beach is full of trees and nettles, grey pebble sand.
Entertainment is done by all First Choice nothing by anyone else.
There is a infestation of mosquitoes as you are also near a river.

Before we left we had read the disastrous reviews on the website and were extremely nervous after reading about the health and safety issues posted on this site especially as we have a baby of 16 months old. When we arrived though we felt relieved and joyous.
The hotel was beautiful we stayed in a double select room which overlooked the pool, we had a Jacuzzi bath which was great and having only the two of us and a little baby it was perfect. We also benefited from the express check in which was well worth the extra money as we were in our room within 10 mins whilst others waited an hour or more.
The pools exceeded all expectations although the red flower in the main pool was very slippery so beware, also the tiles are still very new in the baby pool and therefore I would recommend all kids wear shoes as some feet were getting very sore from the grouting. The sides were great and even better fun at the tropical for both kids and adults.
The food was fine, lots of beautiful salads and bbq chicken as well as the usual British junk such as chips and burgers. But for those who like healthier options the salads were yummy and so were the chicken and lamb options. Some complained that the lamb wasn

A new Tropical sign was being put up outside our hotel which delayed the coach yet more. Eventually arrived at the hotel- and check in at the reception with only one member of staff there a little chaotic. Our welcome envelope showed we were staying for 2 weeks (rather than the one we had booked!)
A porter took us and luggage to our room- which was spacious and overlooked the amphitheatre. Within 30 minutes water started dripping from the ceiling near the air conditioning unit ! The technicians I found in the corridor attending a similar problem came fairly quickly, but couldn't resolve it that night- so we had a fast drip into a bucket all night !
Luckily after the initial first very poor impressions, things improved in many respects- the drip was fixed the next day (unlike others who were without air con for days).
The best bits were : the pools - never crowded, and the pool slides; the kids club- our 12 year old daughter enjoyed raft building, inflatable canoe games etc and the staffing of them was very good; the canopies around the pools which gave plenty of shade from the constant sun.
The worst bits were: the entertainment in the evenings-probably the least professional we have seen at any hotel anywhere; the warm white wine served from behind the bars, and later on in the week the completely undrinkable white wine from the new plastic barrels- which tasted of cleaning fluid, and the running out of soft drinks and ice at the bars.
And the queues;the lack of free non motorised watersports(contrary to brochure); the beach-not at all 'spectacular' as described in the brochure- which meant the hotel beach bars hardly ever had any custom!;some health and safety issues- no fire signs in the rooms and the corridor exit signs not pointing to the nearest exit.
The food was good, lots of salads, desserts and freshly cooked main courses in front of you. The local staff were willing- but took half empty glasses and plates away too quickly- but by the end of the week had been trained to say 'can I take?'
The landscaping will be very impressive when finished- 1000s of plants- and very clever auto watering systems.
Lots of people were coming over from the Palace to the Tropical by the end of the week as their hotel was extremely busy- so I should imagine when the Tropical is full to its capacity the queues would be enormous.
Some of the First Choice reps were helpful, others needed to go back to customer service school!
