Indeed but if I'm out too long I will get all cold and wet
I have also lost my golfing umbrella - that would keep me dry atleast!!
Anyway I have about 8 months of sunshine and heat to look forward to! For me winter is cancelled...no...wait...winter never stopped this year LOL so summer starts the day I arrive in Goa.

Got Passports back this morning with visa. I only sent them off last Wednesday (19th) the visas were issued the 21st Sept. Hows about that for service
Couldn't find out which form to use for Huddersfield surgery, so e-mailed Birmingham HCOI.
Got a quick reply (which is a suprise), but they don't know either !! so they sent me the e-mail address for London HCOI.
Will post with answer - just get's better eh ?....

Hi guys,
I have now got my visa. Although, the printing of the details such as the issue and expiration dates are not on the lines and are over the black wording and you can just about see what the issue and expiration dates are. Does anyone think I will have problems?
You can see my name, passport number and visa type, although still printed on the visa as if the lines were not there.
I'm worried as this is a one year T visa. A visa that is not normally issued!
Cheers

Candolimlover, there's a Visa surgery this Saturday in Manchester, if you can't make that try Astro Global Travel in Bolton I have just been there today to drop of my applications, really helpfull, only £10.00 handling cost, their email and telephone no is on the Birmingham web site
Hi there,
Can anyone help please? We just got our visas back unprocessed from the London office (thought we'd chance it as a friend got his back from there about 3 weeks ago). We live in Bournemouth, and i'm trying to find the closest visa surgery on the High Commission website but am not having much luck.
I will need to go and get mine and my boyfriends in one go. It looks like Luton or London will be the closest.
If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. We need our passports as we are travelling elsewhere on 1st November so unless it's a fast postal service that's recommended i think i'd rather go in person.
Thanks. Amy. x

Amy, there is a surgery in Coventry on Saturday, 27th October Still a long way for you though. Apparently they will open 9 - 9.30am.
Thank you.
Could you give me the link to the correct page on the High Commission website please? Am seriously having difficulties finding the correct info.
I think it will have to be Coventry.

you can send a cheque, no problem. i live in Plymouth , that was no problem either.
you do need to download your application form from the birmingham site though, thats :- cgibirmingham.org they are different than the london ones, and they will only accept the brummie ones.
