Hi all

I used a company called Flight Express
http://www.flightexpress.co.uk/indianvisa.html

I sent my passport off last thursday, they recieved it on friday and my passport was back with me yesterday. With no problems.

£50

Excellent service.

Thanks Candybabe... I should imagine the postal situation will have a knock-on effect to those going in person... I'll just have to get there even earlier!!

I went there a couple of weeks ago. I started queuing at 7.40 am (the doors open from 8.30 am). I got Q ticket numbers 13/14 and would out by 9.15. I am lucky because it is only 5 minutes from where I work. A colleague went last week and collected her Q numbers at 11.30 am. Went back for processing at 2 pm and was all done and dusted by 2.45 pm. Provided you get you Q numbers before 12 noon, you should be processed the same day.

wow Sheila that is very fast service. Ill try not to worry myself over it, I just don't like letting my passport out of my sight.

We were going to take a trip up to the consulate as it isn't very far from us (we are on the kent coast) but by the time we added up the cost, time off from work etc we decided to bite the bullet and send them on to Puja. The lady on the telephone when i rang them was very reassuring and guaranteed a 14 day turn around.

Im just a natural worrier

Where on the Kent coast are you - I live in Herne Bay?

Ooo not far Sheila, we live in Broadstairs. Small world huh.

Sorry Fiona for going :offtop

How much does Puja Travel charge? Think it may be easier to send to them rather than queue at Biringham!
Reply
Puja Travel charged me £100. 2 x £30 for the visas and 2 x £20 administration fee.
Reply
they charge £50 per person , which must be in the form of a cheque . also dont forget to enclose a recorded / registered envelope for the return of your passports

Sorry to go over old ground....but reading the threads on this site has got me all confused  We live in Blackpool, going to Goa in December, what would be our best options for visas? What do we need to send, cost, etc???
Reply
Bob, thanks for the info, I live in Manchester so might just take mine down to them in Bolton.

How come you have to use the Birmingham forms? And are they different than the London ones? I thought it would have just been a form, rather than Birmingham or London.
Reply
hi salford
yes the forms are different and one commision won't accept a form from the other.
