to be fair once they knew people were getting bitten they were out with the smoke machine right away ,could just be the time of year for them ,and the hotel gave us a large can of RAID which cleared the room right away .i think shara whatisname is still there i saw him once ,but i think there may be staff movements between csr and h/v by the way they were talking

Yes I saw Shaarawim there a few times.

PS: Don't worry to much about the mozzies I was also bitten badly on my legs but as blackfox says you can either get shot from the doc for £35 or go up to the chemist and he'll give you antihistamine tablets and a gel. The pills seemed to work for me.

Thaks Nia and Blackfox,

Nia, what did you think of the kids club? Read in the report before yours that the kids club wasn't up to much.
Was hoping to leave my 6 year old daughter in there for a couple of hours a day so I could go for a snorkel, but by the sounds of it, probably won't.
Thanks,
Emma

Stemma,

The kids club was ok for 6yrs upwards I would say. There were 2 playstations there and the staff would colour and draw with the kids. You can always tell them that they are not to go in the pool, some people did that. I think they chg £3 p/hr. If my 6yr old was happy to stay I would have left him for an hour but wouldn't leave my 2 year old.

Hope this helps.

there is a whole thread on mossies..I went to csr last year and got badly bitten, this year I took vitamin B1 and garlic capsules for a month before we went and used spray the whole time, and had a plug in in the room and only had one bite whereas others were bitten lots! Bit of a faff but if you react like I do then it is worth it..sorry I know :offtop but it can really spoil your holiday..

You're right sheba, it can ruin a holiday.
Had a fantastic holiday at Turkey HV in 2005. Wasn't until 2 days after we got back that I had an acute delayed allergic reaction to the bites I'd received the week before.
Came back like big red saucers, so itchy and swollen so much I couldn't even bend my legs. Had them on my face, neck, arms, legs and back. It wasn't a pretty sight I can tell you.
So, I'll be going out to buy garlic capsules, B1 tablets, skin so soft, marmite, mossie repellant, someone even suggested gin, but I wasn't sure if you drank it or rubbed it into skin!!

Sorry for going :offtop but my queery is regarding mossies at CSR.

Hi

Going here on 27th September and was wondering about the towels for sun beds. If anyone has been at this time, can you tell me if there's enough to go around. Don't really want to pack 5 beach towels if there's no need.
16 weeks and 3 days to go and I can't wait. Booked this a year ago now, so seems like we've been waiting ages.
Thanks in advance,

Emma

Hi All

Just wondering if people can give me an idea of what the restaurant times are?

Is there a particular time when it is manic and you cannot get a table to sit at?

Also what kind of food do they do at the beach?

15 days to go and I cannot wait :yipee

Hi Rachel

Ok meal times breakfast 8.30am-10.30am lunch 12.30pm-2.30pm and tea 6.30pm-10.00pm. There was a bbq around near the pool and the mermaid bar you could get meals at spaghetti bolognese, fish dishes etc during the day until 6pm all free. Hope this helps
