It looked like part of Anjuna or Vagator but I know it's not.... is it somewhere North of Colva?

Yes Gemma they are in Mumbai, the view is middle Vagator beach taken from the Alcove resort next to the 9 bar also the scene of the `Prawngate Scandal`

FTV spends a lot of time at Vagator so it could be there.

There must be thousands of people live in this shanty homes in Mumbai and all that washing

gemma- the laundrey photos are from the Dhobi Ghats. thats where the city's laundrey ends up. You can your washing in at your hotel, it is collected, washed, pressed and returned to you. It is a mystery how they manage to get all the laundrey back to the right place.

Even the man we use at Vell Wash, I hand him the bag(s) and he tells you when to come back, he no longer takes a note of our name because he knows us, but he maybe has another 30 to 50 bags of washing lying about and puts your stuff with the other bags. How does he remember who all the bags belong to I think its brilliant.

they have a system of marking but keep it all secret. these jobs are passed down generations. If you notice they all launder one type of washing so your washing gets split between them all. Its a fascinating place.
