xdaniellex,
It is recommended you check-in 3 hours prior your scheduled departure time at LGW so there's no problem at that time.

Just joined & cant believe how much info there is on here. We are flying Gatwick to Sanford in october with first choice - is it just SCP seats that are pre allocated before the flight or SC as well. We have paid for seats together
All seats.
just wondered if there was any info on what films will be on longhaul scp for september? also as we are travelling on 5th sept (outbound) is it likely we will have the julu-aug entertainment?
Just incase it's useful info for anyone, I called First Choice today regarding the number of bags we are allowed to check in as a family of four. The answer was the number of bags doesn't matter, ie we can have more than 1 per person, but no bag must exceed 23kg. Good news since we usually have a case each plus 1 holdall full of pool games/ snorkel gear etc. Bought wheeled holdalls for the kids and full they only weigh 12kg so we should be well within limits.

hi i am flying man to lca on the 8th oct with first choice and was thinking of booking extra legroom seats and i was wondering if you could tell me what rows the seating is on and if they are just exit seats as the last time i got exit seats they turned out to be rather narrower than the other seats on the aircraft {monarch} and could you just confirm for me which aircraft it will be,which terminal and if i decide to use day before check-in what desk will it be
There are no seats on First Choice(apart from their long haul 767's in star class premier) that will give you the normal width and legroom- its one or the other i'm afraid.
Its a 757, Terminal two as for day before check in i'm sure its been answered before, i'm not sure of the Manchester procedure someone will be on here soon enough that does, but if you want to do a search(top of the page) and search for "day before check in" it may shed some light on the subject
Now I have checked around and its the only flight out of Manchester to that destination on that day.
Yet today I noticed on another website that the Flight is being advertised as being a Martinair flight.
is it possible that FCA have subbed the flight out to Martinair which I find unlikely or is it possible thay have done such a thing.
The link below shows the airline as Martinair.
http://www.theholidayplace.co.uk/book_holidays.asp?i=29698&f=14-Aug-08&r=1119&a=18579660_553348549
I can only imagine it is an additional one off flight by Martinair from Manchester in the same way as Thomson/First Choice do random flights from Dublin or Belfast mid summer season to regular destinations.
There are no plans for a Martinair aircraft to visit MAN any time soon! It'll be an FCA aircraft operating your flight.

thanks for the info both of you thats put my mind at rest now and got the other half off my case
hi flying with fc with TOM flight. what airline is this?
The TOM prefix relates to Thomsonfly/Thomson Airways.
We are flying to Sharm on Thursday with First choice any ideas what the movies may be thinking there might be 2 both ways - hoping they are good ones!
Please does anyone know if FC have an open check-in at Manchester (where you can just check in for any flight) or do they just open 3 hours before for each flight?
Thanks.
You can use any Thomsonfly desk to check-in (you may find there are bariers so there's only one way to the desks anyway). They'll generally allow you to check-in from 4 or 5 hours prior to your flight.
Darren
Thanks Darren.
thanks haven't flown with them before .do you know if it's 2 3 2 seating?
