Thanks for the prompt reply

I'm hoping to keep my luggage down to 20kg check in plus 5kg hand but want to take dive gear. How do I get around the apparent 23kg per item limit and only one item checked in 'catch 22' if I want to take advantage of the additional allowance?

I once faced that problem!! Any case over 23kg will be refused travel. Take one case up to the 23kg limit and either a second smaller case or bag. As long as you've pre-booked the allowance and have the confirmation letter, you'll be fine.

We are flying to Cancun on 14th Oct FCA196 could anyone tell me if this is a 767. We have paid for premium service, we have travelled on a airtours 767 before has anyone flown with both companys to compare? Airtours were ok but the hand held IFE was a pain.

Are FC still doing 'skytime' in their IFE? We go to cozumel on the 27th sept flying SCP and just wondered if they still have the TV programmes and the on board games?

OK thanks for your reply i was just abit concerened because when we upgraded there was only 5 seats left in SCP and we have booked 3 but my wife is worryed that we wont all be sat together as our daughter is not over keen on flying

Hi all

Sat here in the lounge at Gatwick waiting for the delayed FCA068 flight to Cancun. We are delayed dut to delayed inbound Florida flight FCA035. As I am bored was trying to find out why they were delayed but it seems that they left only a few mins late but are due to land about 4.5 hrs late - just curious if anyone knows how/why they can be so delayed (surely they would not even have had enough fuel on board for this extra air time?

The outbound only left Gatwick at around 4pm yesterday, so I doubt it left Sanford on time. The inbound delay is simply a knock-on.

Delayed or not, you certainly are lucky to be getting away from this British weather. Have a good time in Mexico!
